I arrive in DFW from Vancouver on an American Airlines flight then catch a Qantas flight on to Sydney Australia. Will I have to go through customs and immigration seeing I will be in transit? Will 1 hour 22 minutes be long enough to connect with my flight? Thank you
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in DFW is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
A family member will be flying into DFW on American, then connecting with a Delta flight (with only carry-on bags). I think he will have just under an hour to make the connection. What will be the best & quickest way for him to travel between terminals?
The Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security.
Looking at some flights to get me down to Cancun from Hawaii via DFW AA8 - AA1343 would 72 minutes be enough? Would I need to recheck bags all flights will be on AA. Any help greatly appreciated
Yes, that is enough time. On the way to Cancun all you have to do in DFW is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all gates inside security.
I am flying in November from Memphis to Dallas and then Dallas to London. My scheduled arrival time into Dallas is 5:52 and the departure time for my next flight is 6:40. Will I have enough time to make my flight?
That is just enough time if the first flight is on-time. The Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security.
I will be flying from SAL (San Salvador) by TACA Airlines and from there I have to connect to Korea by Korean Airlines. Both TACA and Korean operate in Terminal D. However, I am booking these two trips in two separate tickets. My question is, do I need to pass through the Immigration and enter US (I am Indian Citizen on B2 Visa)? Is the baggage claim after the Immigration? Any possibility that I can board Korean without entering US? Thank you.
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the Korean check-in desk, and then go through security.
I am planning my trip from Hong Kong to San Antonio (TX).
In returning trip, I would take American Airlines AA2385 from SAT to DFW and American Airlines AA2385 from DFW to LAX (and then go back to Hong Kong). There is only 1 hr 14 min for me to transit at DFW. Please suggest if the time is sufficient or not? Thank you!
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If you need to change terminals the Skylink train connects all gates inside security.
Flying in from Phoenix on AA connecting on British Airways. How do I connect and is and hour enough time?
Just take the Skylink train from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Terminal D. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
We arrive at DFW from Toronto Canada on AA#1259 at 9:26 am and depart on AA#5787 to Mazatlan MX at 10:45 am (we have 1hr. 19 min between flights).. Can we check our bags in Toronto right through to Mazatlan with American Airlines?? .. What would the time requirement typically be to make this connection?
Yes, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in DFW is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. 45-60 minutes is sufficient, so you have enough time.
If I am playing from Paris (CDG) to SAT with a layover in DFW about how long will I need my layover to be in Dallas to have enough time to make it through customs?
I recommend at least 2 hours.
I am trying to locate the gate I will be using (online terminal map at DFW) for my flight out of DFW to EVV -- Gate B46
B46 is roughly where B37 is on the Ifly Map.
