Hi. I'm a arriving at DFW at 9:20 with connecting flight leaving at 10:10. 50 minutes. Do I have enough time? Terminals are B to C.

Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. The Skylink train connects all gates inside security.

    Great. Thank you.

No, if both tickets are on the same reservation then you don't have to go through security again in DFW. The Skylink train connects all gates inside security.

Please explain the location to recheck your luggage after exiting customs when arriving from Madrid on AA and catching an American Eagle connection. Is this outside of the secured tram? If so, I'll assume you must recheck luggage at departures in the other terminal?? How would you then travel there? Please explain the process...

It's literally right after you clear customs. You do NOT have to take your bags to another terminal. You then go through security in Terminal D and take the tram to your departure terminal (likely B).

Hello! I am military so i did not get to chose my flight path or times. I'm flying into DFW from Fort Walton beach Florida and arrive at 9:18pm. My connecting flight is from DFW to London at 10:05 pm. Do I have to pick up my luggage, go through security, and recheck my luggage again? And if so do I have time? Thank you for the help! Oh also it's all through American Airlines.

No, you don't have to do any of that. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in DFW. All gates are connected inside security by the Skylink train. You have enough time.

We are US citizens flying into DFW from Vancouver with 90 minute layover. I have Mobile Passport ready to go. Will this be enough time to make our connecting flight to TPA?

Yes, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in DFW is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all gates inside security.

I am flying on a return flight from Cancun to dallas to Reno with a 3 hour layover and a terminal change. Do I need to clear customs and go through the security line again in Dallas, before I board my flight to Reno?

    Both flights are American Airlines

Yes, in Dallas you will arrive in Terminal D, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate, likely on the Skylink train. You have enough time.

Yes, that is enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all gates inside security.

  • Connection time AA Beijing - Santiago SCL

I arrive from Beijing (China) at DWF at 5:55 pm with AA and depart to Chile at 7:10 pm with AA. Is 1:15 connection time enough?

Realistically, no, that is a very difficult connection, bordering on impossible.

  • Connection time Virgin America domestic to AA domestic, with bags

we arrive at DFW on Virgin at 4.55 p.m. and depart with AA at 6.30 pm. Both are domestic, and with checked baggage. And it's 2 different tickets and bookings. Coming from LAX and going to BNA. It's one hour 35 minutes connection. Is it enough?

Virgin flies into LOVE FIELD only, not DFW....so you have flights at two different airports!!!

Yes, you have booked yourself a completely impossible connection between two different airports.

thanks. Well that was pretty dopey of me

We can fly out from DFW on AA at 8:45pm, i.e. 3 hrs 50 minutes after ETA at Love Field. And our ETA there is 4:55 pm on a Friday. Does the 3 hrs 50 minutes give us enough time to catch the domestic AA flight?

That should be just enough time if the first flight is on-time. The taxi between the two airports will cost about $40.

We're flying into DFW from Tokyo at 8:25 a.m. and transfer to a domestic flight to Florida leaving at 10:30 a.m.; both flights are on American Airlines. Is it enough time to make it through immigration/customs and make it onto the next flight?

It's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

I am a Canadian flying from Vancouver to Dallas arriving at 5:28 am and then flying to Dayton at 7:06 am (1h 28 m layover). Do I need to grab my luggage in Dallas and check it in and go through customs or can I go straight to my connecting flight?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in DFW is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Arriving DFW at 1811H from Seattle departing for an International flight at 1945H. Do I have to go thru US customs and is this enough time considering traveling with kids?

There is no US Customs when leaving the US. If both tickets are on the same reservation you have plenty of time as all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all gates inside security.

  • AA "World of Hurt?"

AA has changed our itinerary, giving us a connection time of 45mins between Miami (arr 3:45pm) and Vancouver(dep 4:30pm) in DFW. The only luggage we will have is carry-on but I think what AA is offering us is the "World of Hurt" they inflict on their passengers, (based on what I've read here?) Thoughts? Should I just get a refund or go for it?

All you have to do in DFW is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. It is very easy. The skylink train connects all gates inside security. The "world of hurt" mainly refers to going through going through Immigration and Customs, which you don't have to do.
