We are planning a Caribbean cruise from Fort Lauderdale and looking at some flight options to get there from Vancouver, Canada. It seems the easiest and least expensive is through DFW but a few of the options only leave a 50 minute window for connections is this enough time?

I'm travelling to Maui, Hawaii from Toronto with 1.5hr stop in Dallas with American Airline (First Class).
Do I have to find my luggage in Dallas and do the check in again?
or does it get sent to Maui directly?
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in DFW is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If you have to change terminals the Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security.
Hi, I have 1 hr connection, and I need to get from Terminal C to D, my flight is Indiannapolis - Dallas - Mexico , how do I get there faster?
You have enough time. Just take the Skylink train from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Im assuming my connecting flight to Washington DCA with AA will depart from terminal C. I'll be arriving via terminal D + customs. Do I then skytrain to terminal C directly? Is there an abundance of food options available?
After you clear Immigration and customs you'll go through security in Terminal D and then take the Skylink to your departure gate.
Great, thanks... If I go via skylinkdirect to departing gate, will bypass food options (to go) or should I walk across?

only have 2hrs between but thought I could eat at gate lounge.
Arriving DFW international (Terminal D) from Sydney at 1pm (Tues) and my connecting flight (Amercian Airlines) leaves for Washington DCA at 3pm.

How long do I need to get from my international flight - customs, security, transfer to my connecting flight?

Just curious if I'll have time for lunch?
You have just enough time to make your connection, probably not enough time for lunch.
hello, I will take AA0282 from Vancouver to Dallas and then AY4002 from Dallas to Madrid. I just want to know if I need to collect my luggage at Dallas for my connecting flight to Madrid?

Thank you
You don't have to do anything with your bags in Dallas on your way to Madrid. Also be aware that both flights will be operated by American. You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in DFW is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Im flying AA, from Argentina to Los Angeles, CA, with a 1:55 hour connection time. Should I be fine with that? (Im an Argentinian citizen with an US VISA)

That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. If you miss your connection you'll be rebooked on AA's next flight to Los Angeles (they have many).
My parents are flying AA (American Airlines) from China to FL with layover at DFW. They will be arriving at Terminal D and need to go through Immigration/customs, their next flight will be at Terminal C. Since they don't speak English I have printed out a airport map for them.
1. Where is the Immigration/custom? Can't find them on the map.
2. Where to claim their luggages? At Terminal D?
3. At Terminal C where to recheck their luggages?

Thank you very much for your help!
Once they arrive they will have no choice but to go directly to Immigration, then claim their bags, then go through customs, then they will immediately re-check their bags, then they will go up to the departure level, go through security and to their departure gate on the Skylink train.
I'm flying AA (American Airlines) from YYZ (Toronto Canada) to HKG (Hong Kong) with layover at DFW.
1) Will I need to pick up checked luggage and go through customs/security and re-check? I'm hoping not since we are just at DFW for a quick transfer and it's not our destination! But I've asked friends and have gotten mixed feedback
2) We only have 75 mins for the layover. Is that enough time to get to the departure gate (no idea where it'll be! Is there a way to find this out in advance?) and enough time to get through securty/re-check baggage, if necessary? What happens if the first flight is late or it takes too long getting through security (i.e., not really my fault)? Will they put me on the next flight or I have to buy a new ticket?

Thanks so much for your help!!!

I am traveling with AA from Rapid City South Dekota via DFW to Phoenix.
Will I need to collect and recheck luggage in DFW?
No, you do not have to re-check your bags in DFW.
