I arrive Dallas DFW on Virgin Amer.#VX710 @ 2:50pm, Mar 10,2012 I need to connect w/ Amer.Eagle #2855 to Houston @ 1:40pm that day. I get nervous w/ flight connection. Could you direct me?

You did not state your arrivals/ or departure time correctly (2:50pm to 1:40pm). Virgin American serves Terminal E, the international terminal. As an international arrival you need to go through passport check, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance and then re-check-in your bags (bags should have tags for all three airports) before proceeding to your connecting Terminal B (American Eagle)- this should take 35-45 mins. Note that all secured areas are connected by the free Skylink train running every 2 minutes and taking an average of five minutes.

family of 6 landing at C8...connecting at D30...whats the fastest way to get there

    1. The Terminal layout is such that the north & south lanes of the International Parkway are in the center, Terminals A, C & E are to the right of the north lane, and Terminals B & D to the right of the south lane. Gates are divided by the Skylink train station between C1-12 & C27-32, and at Terminal D it stops near gates D1, D20, D25 & D34. Skylink runs every 2 mins, taking 5 mins.

how do I get from terminal d to terminal a, I only have 30 minutes between flights

Since you land at the International Terminal D you must be an international arrival, meaning you would have to spend 30-45 mins for going through passport control, baggage pickup, customs clearance and baggage re-check-in before proceeding to Terminal A.

I am arriving on flight AA2793 from SFD (Sioux Falls, SD). I depart for Dubai on flight DK222. What terminal will I arrive at? And what terminal will I leave from? My final destination is Dhaka Bangladesh on flight EK221....can my bags be checked all the way through from Sioux Falls, SD?

    1. Prior to arriving at SFD research your airlines for their rules on transferring bags to another airline's departure flight - not all airlines do (in which case you would need to retrieve your bag on arrival & re-check it in at connecting terminal, if connection is not in same terminal. 2. At SFD, make sure your bags are tagged for all stopovers and end destination. 3. You need to look at your ticket to see which gate you arrive at/depart from. American & American Eagle are in Terminals A (gates A13-34; TB (gates B9-31) & TC (C8-32). You depart from SFD at either TD (gates D6-40, or TE (gates E2-38). If arriving at any of gates C1-C32, you can walk to the area of the D40 gate. 3. All gate areas are divided by the Skylink station in the center, which is an elevated train.

what gate does Quantas flight 0008 leave from on Jan 20 at 10:00

Qantas serves Terminal D, which has gates D6-40 and is served by the Skylink which stops at D1, 20, D25 & D34. Your ticket (and the overhead screens in the Airport) will tell you which gate.

leaving dayton, ohio on a plane delayed 5 1/2 hours. can i get from d21 to b8 for a flight that leaves 40 mins after I am supposed to arrive?

As you arrive at the International Terminal, I presume you are an international arrival, in which case you need to (unless gone through US customs clearance by participating airport) go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance, then re-check-in your bags, which should indicate final destination. This procedure takes 30-45 mins (being Xmas time the lines may be long). You absolutely need to be the first person getting off the plane, running to passport control. After completing your re-check-in of bags take the Skylink. If you don't need to observe these formalities, you can pick up the Skylink train near gate D20, to Terminal B, running every 2 mins and taking at most 5 mis. If you needed to go through international arrivals procedure you are in the non-secured area after re-checking in your bag, and need to take the free "Terminal Link blue & green vans outside the baggage claim , running every 10 mins. to Terminal B.

Arriving on American Airlines from London Heathrow. I have 1 hour and 30 min. to go through passport control then depart on American Airlines to Killeen, TX What terminals will I arrive and leave from, will there be time to connect?

As an international arrival you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). Count on 30-45 minutes for this procedure. You need to look at your ticket to see which gate you arrive at/depart from. American uses the A,& C gates; American Eagle uses the B gates (i.e., B9, A13, C27). The Skylink train starts at Terminal D to TC, TB & TA, runs every 2 minutes and takes about five minutes.

My daughter will be flying in from Costa Rica. After she clears customs can she go directly to connect with her next flight or is she outside of security and have to stand in line again? She has 3 hours!!

She has plenty of time. Depending on the airline she uses on her next flight, note that all secured areas are connected by the free Skylink trains running every 2 minutes and taking an average of five minutes. The Skylink starts in the International Terminal D at gates D1, D20, D25 & D34. You can walk past gate D40 to gates C1-C32; past gate A39 is a walkway to gates C1-39; near gate B2 is a walkway to gates D1-40 and to gates A1-39; past gate C2 is a walkway to gates A1-39; Terminal E has no connecting walkway. She needs to look at her ticket to see what gate she will depart from.

I'm flying from Chicago to San Angelo on American 2325, leaving from terminal B to SA on American Eagle 4772. Will I have to switch terminals? What terminal will 2325 arrive in?

You arrive in Terminal A and need to get to Terminal B. Look at your ticket for gate number (TA has gates A13-166 & A29-34; TB has gates B9-12 & B28-31. The Skylink train runs every 2 minutes, taking at most five minutes - stopping in the center of the above-stated gates.

Thank you so much!! Less stress - me happy!

I will arrive terminal E and if my arrival plane is on time, I'll have 1 hour 15 min to get to term B. will I have enough time? What is the min. time I'll need in case my inbound flight is late? will I have to go through security or can I get from one terminal to the other without leaving the secured area?

You don't have to go through security again, as the elevated Skylink train, which runs every 2 mins and takes an average of five mins starts at International Terminal D and connects to other terminals in their gateway center. TE's station is between gates E8-11 & E31-32, while the TB station is between B9-12 & B28-31. Plenty of time.
