I will be flying from Toronto YYZ to Hong Kong HKG via Dallas DFW.

Flight details below:

YYZ-DFW American Airlines 1259

stopover 1h 14m

10:35-16:10 +1 day
DFW-HKG American Airlines 125

I have 1 hour 14 minutes between both flights and I will have 1 checked baggage. YYZ airport operates U.S. preclearance facilities, so do I have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security again? Do I have to reclaim my luggage and recheck it in? Are both flights in the same terminal? Will I have enough time to make my connection?

Thanks very much.
Because you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto, all you have to do in DFW on your way to Hong Kong is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security. You have enough time.
Thanks, ZAP! Really appreciate your assistance!
Why do I have to claim baggage when travelling from YVR (Vancouver) to BZE (Belize City) transiting DFW but it is unnecessary to do so on my way back? Both times my baggage tag has my final destination on it.
I'm traveling from cancun to lax with a 2 hour layover in Dallas. Do you think that is enough time to collect bags and go through immigration and customs and then go back though security?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
If I fly from Chicago to Seattle will I have to layover in Dallas all the time...
American, United, Alaska, Delta, and Southwest all fly from Chicago to Seattle nonstop.
Hello. I am flying from Anchorage to Dallas and from Dallas to Buenos Aires, both American Airlines flights. I have 12 hours between both flights. I have 2 questions:
1. Do I have to get my luggage at Dallas and recheck it to Buenos Aires.
2. Is it possible to keep 1 of the pieces (only 1 of thr 2 I am checking) so I can buy some things in Dallas and then check it later at the AA counter?
Thank you very much
If your connection is during the day (I think it is) you don't have to do anything with your bags in DFW on the way to Buenos Aires.
Thank you Zap. I arrived at 6am and departed at 7pm and did not have to take my luggage, it continued alone. AA also did not let me tag one of the pieces to be retired at DFW. I had to tag them all to final destination. Thank Yoi

Thanks very much

Yes, that should be just enough time. You will go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security but won't have to claim your bags, both flights are in Terminal D.
I'm arriving from the uk and have to transit through DFW to connect a flight to Corpus Christi. Do I have to reclaim my luggage and recheck it in ?
Thanks Robert
Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and take the Skylink train to your departure gate in Terminal B.
Flying through DFW on Saturday, I have an hour and 10 minutes to get from Terminal A to Terminal B (both flights through American Airlines). I won't have a checked bag but I will have a carry on. Is that enough time? And any tips on the best way to get from A to B quickly?
Yes, that is enough time. Take the Skylink train.
Sorry, American from OKC to DFW lands at 6:10am Spirit flight leaves DFW at 8:08am will i have enought time to catch Spirit flight.
That should be enough time if the first flight is on-time. And yes, you will have to claim your bag, take the shuttle to Terminal E, re-check it with Spirit, and go through security.
I have two reservations, first one coming from OKC to DFW on Spirit and then from DFW to LGA on American. Will I have to recheck my bag and will I have enough time to make my flight.
Yes, you will have to claim your bags, take the shuttle bus to your departure terminal, re-check your bag with American and go through security. I don't know how much time you have so I don't know if you have enough time.
Also, Spirit doesn't fly to Oklahoma City so I suspect you listed your airlines in reverse order.
