We are flying from CDG, connecting through DFW on to DEN. We only have 1hr 25 min. Is that enough time?
That's below the minimum International to Domestic connection time in DFW. You have a chance though if you don't have checked bags and the flight is on-time or early.
I am not a US citizen or green card holder. I will arrive with American Airline at Dallas at 9am and my next AA flight (probably the same terminal D as well) is 11am. I only have carry-on bags, so no need to claim or re-check in luggage. Is 2 hour layover time enough for my next flight?
to clarify: I fly from Mexico, stop at Dallas and then fly to ORD.
Yes, that should be enough time.
I am flying into DFW and on to Springfield, MO, with only 53 minutes to connect the flights. Is this enough time for one who is unfamiliar with the DFW airport?
Yes that should be enough. Once you landed, check the scrren to see your connection flight. If you landed in different terminal (A to E), be sure to take the train upstairs to next terminal.
American Airlines has recently changed our flight where we had a two hour layover to 1 hr 22 min. Is that enough time to get through customs and make our next flight?
That is below the minimum International to Domestic connection time. Call them and reject the schedule change and request an earlier flight from Mexico if there is one. It's unlikely there's a later flight to Ft. Wayne.
We will be flying into Dallas from St.louis with just one hour to connect to Sydney AUS. Will we make the flight? How about our luggage? Why would they sell such a tight connection??!!
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security.
I'll be landing at DFW at 9:05am from India. My connecting flight home to Amarillo is at 10:40am. Can I make it?
There are no nonstop flights from India to DFW - where are you stopping first?
So i am transferring in Dallas. Coming from London, and going to Mexico City. Flying American Airlines. Is 1h and 20min enough time?
Realistically, no that is not enough time. 90 minutes is the official minimum, but I recommend at least 2 hours. However it's not impossible if the first flight arrives a bit early.
Hello I'm flying from Cleveland to Dallas and Dallas to Seoul, but I only have 45 minutes duration between my connecting flights. Do you think I'll make it? Also, if ever I'm not able to make it, do you think the airline will set up the next flight for me? I'm moving from Terminal C to D and both flights are American Airlines.
It's possible but it doesn't leave any time to spare. Yes, if you miss your connection you will be rebooked on the next day's flight to Seoul or would be rebooked to Seoul through Tokyo.
I am flying from CLE to DFW, then DFW to Santiago. Will I need to claim my checked bag upon arrival in DFW and re-check it in Terminal D for the international flight?
If both flights are on American, no you don't. All you have to do is take the Skylink train to Terminal D.
Hi, I am going to get connected with DFW within 2h25min, from Souel Korea to Indianapolis, IN by AA. I am an international student so I am afraid if the time is enough for customs. Thanks.
That is enough time. You will arrive in Terminal D, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and take the Skylink train to your departure gate which will likely be in a different terminal.
Got it and the departure terminal is same as the arrival which would save me time! Thank you very much!
