I'm flying with AA from CLT to EZE and I have 2 hours between both flights, Do I have to re-check in my bags or not? And will that be enough time?
All you have to do in DFW on the way to Buenos Aires is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all gates inside security. You should have plenty of time.
Hi, I will be flying in from Abu Dhabi (Etihad) and need to go to Phoenix from Dallas airport. How much layover time should I budget for transfer from international to domestic terminal?
I also have the option of flying into US through LA and then connecting flight to Phoenix.
Since I am travelling with a kid and will need to collect the checked in baggage, which arrival city offers better transfer times and convenience?
If you're buying two separate tickets then you need at least 2.5 hours. DFW is an easier airport to manage than LAX.
Perfect Thanks!
Looking at a an AA flight from Phoenix that lands at DFW @11:55 am connecting to a British Airways flight leaving for Rome @1:35pm. Is this enough time to from one terminal to the next? The
If both flights are on the same reservation yes, that is enough time. You just have to take the Skylink train from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Terminal D.
Hi ! I am an international traveler (not US citizen), I will be flying on American Airlines from Paris to Santa Ana (SNA), with a layover at DFW of about 1H40, is at enough to make it ?
Will I go through customs in DFW or SNA ? and in DFW do I need to get my bags checked in Paris re-checked ?
Thanks for your help !
That is just enough time. In DFW you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate on the Skylink train.
Hi. I'm flying from Boston Logan airport to Dallas. We arrive to Dallas at 8:24am and have to catch our next flight that leave at 9:05am to go to Maui Hawaii. Is that enough time? And do I have to worry about my luggage?
Yes, that is enough time if the flight from Boston is on-time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
We don't know what terminal we arrived in and what terminal we depart to go to Maui. Will that be a problem? We're not flying till May 10th so we don't have the terminal or gate info yet. I'm just worried that going to the connecting terminal is far.
Your flights will be in Terminal A or C. The Skylink connects all terminals and gates inside security.
My daughter and I and two grandchildren will be flying from Michigan to Corpus Christi with a layover in Dallas of 48 minutes. It says we will be landing at Terminal B and departing from Terminal B, but I am worried that with two little ones and two car seats that we will have a hard time making our connecting flight. Is this going to be possible?
It's possible if the flight from Grand Rapids is on-time. Yes, both flights will be in Terminal B.
Hi. I'll be going from Phoenix to Montreal (Canada) with a connecting flight in Dallas. I have 1 hour in Dallas. What should I expect? Will it be enough time?
All you have to do in Dallas is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security. You have enough time.
Hi! I am traveling from Seoul to Quito (Ecuador), with a 1h20 layover in DFW. Will that be enough? Do I have to pick up the bags and go through immigration? Thank you!
That is a very difficult connection. Since it's an international to international connection over DFW all on AA, you won't have to claim you bags, but you will still go through US Immigration, customs, and security.
Hi, I am connecting from SCL to YVR via DFW with American.Do I need to pickup my bag or does it bypass and get loaded directly to the connecting flight?
Since it's an international to international connection over DFW all on AA, you won't have to claim you bags, but you will still go through US Immigration, customs, and security.

Yes, that should be enough time if the first flight is on-time. The Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security.
