Hi we are travelling from London Heathrow to DFW and flying on to San Jose Cabo. We have 2 hours 10 mins. Can we have quick directions please. Thank you

You will arrive in Terminal D, go through US Immigration and Customs (you won't have to claim your bags since you're on an International to International connection through DFW on AA), then go through security and back to your departure gate, also in Terminal D.

    Oh, Thank you so much!

  • 1 hr 45 enough for International transfer?

I am flying to DFW from Cancun then connect to HKG, with 1 hr 45 min in between. Both flights are AA and on same bookings. Do I need to collect my baggage and recheck? Is there enough time?

No you don't have to claim your bags in DFW since your connection is International to International all on AA. You do have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security. You have just enough time.

If I don't have to claim my checked baggage, am I going through customs with my carried-on only? Isn't going through customs and baggage clearance the same thing?

Hi. I am planning to book an AA flight from Mexico City connecting in DFW to St. Louis. Is 1 hour 25 minutes enough time to make that connection if I have to go through customs?

Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. I recommend at least 2 hours.

Hi I'm arriving on BA0193 from LHR (UK) terminal D at 14.30 then flying on BA4659 (OPERATED BY AMERICAN AIRLINES) AT 17.05 to Palm Springs. Do I need to: 1. change terminals and if so do you know which one for Palm Springs? 2. collect my baggage and clear customs? 3. Will this give me enough time ... 2 1/12 hours? Many thanks for your help.

Yes, you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. You will depart from Terminal A or C. The Skylink train connects all terminals inside security. You have enough time.

    Many thanks for your help

  • 1 hr 25 enough time?

i am flying to DFW from Sydney on Qantas and will have 1 hr 25mins before i fly to Chicago on Qantas. is this enough time? Both flights are on the same booking.

That is not enough time unless the flight from Sydney arrives early. 90 minutes is the minimum for International to Domestic connections in DFW, with 2 hours recommended. However, AA has hourly flights from DFW to Chicago.

I will be traveling St. Louis SW 2703 to San Antonio SW 2824. What are the gate numbers and what is the distance between them.

Southwest does not fly to DFW Airport. They fly to Dallas Love Field (DAL). All gates in DAL are close together.

I will be arriving at 415pm AA126 and connecting flight to Aguascaliantes at 705pm AA3698. Do I need to clear immigration and custom and re check in my luggage? If I have to clear immigration and customer, do I have enough time?

Yes, that should be enough time. You have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security but since you are on an International to International connection on AA, you don't have to do anything with your bags.

I arrive from Orlando with a connection to Cabo San Lucas, all on American Airlines. I have a 1 hour 10 min. layover. Is that enough time. security clearance required?

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all gates and terminals inside security.

I have to change from terminal C to terminal D for international travelling. 1 hour is enough time to change the terminal ? do I need to face the security check or any kind of queues again to change the terminals? if yes how much time it will take on Friday evening 5 p.m.

Yes, that is enough time. If both flights are on the same reservation you just have to take the Skylink to Terminal D and board your flight, no security or anything else.

Hi, Is two hours enough time to make the connection from Incheon to Toronto via American Airlines? Thank you.

Yes, that should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly. Since you are on an International to International connection all on AA, you can use the OneStop Immigration and Customs line at DFW.

Hi November 30 I arrive from Sydney to DFW at 1330 and connect to Cancun at 1530 with Interjet. Flights are on different bookings. Do I have enough time to make my connection?

Sorry forgot to mention I arrive with Qantas

If the flight to Cancun is on American that's barely enough time if everything goes smoothly.

I am flying from Jacksonville to DFW then transferring to QF8 for Sydney. I have one hour to complete this task. Is it possible?

Yes, that is possible. If everything is on the same reservation you just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Terminal D. The Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security.
