Im traveling from Boise ID to Guadalajara MEX with a layover in DFW. Do i have to change my baggage and go through check point? Is it 40 minutes enough?

There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in DFW on your way to Guadalajara is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Skylink train connects all gates inside security. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

I have a lot of heavy luggage. Flying alone. At DFW will there be baggage carts to use? Can I take baggage carts through customs? What is cost of carts?

Yes, there are carts in the international baggage claim that you can use to push your bags through customs. I don't know the cost.

I am flying with my 6 month old from HK to DFW and could probably use some assistance getting my bags back through immigration. Is there a porter service I can arrange before hand or once there?

No, there is no such service.

Do I need to claim and recheck my bags in dallas if my tickets from Chicago to Dallas and then Dallas to Korea were bought seperately? Or is there a way to get my bags to Korea even tho I won't have my ticket to Korea at that point. (I am meeting a group in Dallas who'll have my ticket to Korea)

Yes, because one reservation is a group ticket it will likely mean you'll have to claim and re-check your bags in Dallas even if both flights are on American.

Hi! So I'll be coming from LHR to DFW. We have a 2 hour 11 min layover, and we will need to go through immigration. Is 2 hours enough? Do we have to reclaim baggage?

Where are you flying out of DFW to?

Heard that its possible to have the immigration kiosks print your connecting flight boarding pass.. is that true? or what is the process?

No, that's not true. There will be kiosks for AA right outside customs if you need an AA boarding pass.

Will 1 hour be enough to get from terminal d to A

If the first flight is domestic that is enough time, however, most arrivals in Terminal D are not domestic. Where are you flying from and to?

This Tuesday (Aug 16th) I will be going from Jakarta,Indonesia to Tokyo, Japan to Dallas Fort Worth to Greensboro NC. I'm confused about my luggage situation from Tokyo to Dallas and then my domestic flight. Do I need to collect my luggage? or is it handled for me? I know i have to go through customs, but I'm very confused about what I do from there.

Your bags will be tagged to Greensboro, but in DFW, You will arrive in Terminal D, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate on the Skylink train.

I am flying from Puerto Vallarta (PVR) to DFW on AA then on to LHR on BA, we have a 1:35 hour connecting time. We can check our bags all the way through in PVR, however I was told by AA that we may have to collect our bags in DFW and then go through customs. Is that correct and therefore would we have enough connecting time?

Yes, you may have to claim your bags in DFW. You will have to go through US Immigration, customs, and security. This is a very difficult connection.

I m not a US citizen and will be leaving US from DFW, Do I have to go through immigration ?

There is no US Immigration for anybody when leaving the US. You just show your passport to the airline as you board your departing flight and they note your departure to USCBP.
