  • Connecting United 5514 to 8879

I'm Flying from SBA on United 5514 to DEN and then from DEN to FRA on United 8879. There is only 42 minute layover. Is this possible with on time flights?

Your flight to Frankfurt will be operated by Lufthansa and depart from Concourse A. So you have to go to the center of B, take the underground train to A, and board your flight. You have just enough time if the flight from Santa Barbara is on-time.

I have a short layover for my connecting flight from Denver to Toronto. Will my departure flight out of Denver be out of the same concourse?

What airlines are you flying? Where are you flying into Denver from?

Flying in from San Diego on Air Canada (operated by United). Flight to Toronto on Air Canada.

Then you will have to take the Underground train from Concourse B to Concourse A to get to your departing flight.

  • Domestic Connection Time

Hello we are flying from SAN to ICT with a stopover in Denver. The listed connecting time is 42 minutes. Will that be enough time to change from flight UA 5372 to UA 4661? Are they in the same concourse B or will I have to go to the concourse C? Thanks!

All domestic United flights are in Concourse B. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate. That is enough time if your first flight is on-time.

  • Connecting MUC-DEN-SFO, 1:20 enough?

I have a flight end of January, from Munich operated by LH, connecting trough Denver to SFO United flight, with 1 hour 20 minutes connection. I have Global Entry and only hand baggage - how risky is this? Thanks!

With Global Entry and no checked bags you should be fine as long as the Munich flight is on-time.

  • Icelandair to United Connection

Hi, I'm flying back from Europe to DEN on Icelandair, which, according to flightaware, is notorious for being 30-40 minutes behind schedule. I'm then connecting to a United domestic flight. If everything is on time I have 2 hours to claim my luggage and connect, which should be fine. My questions are: (1) Does United have a recheck desk after clearing customs at DEN (saving having to go up to departures); and (2) if the nail-biting scenario of having only an hour to connect happens, is it possible with global entry and precheck?

Since your bags won't be tagged to your final destination, you'll need to go to the main United check-in counter to re-check your bags. With global entry, it is possible in just an hour but really cutting it close and it depends on getting your bags quickly.

  • connection from narita japan going to houston

I am returning to USA in beginning of Febuary from Thailand via Bangkok to Narita to Denver to Houston. I have a 1 hour 20 minutes layover in Denver. As this is my entry point into USA, I assume I have to go through Immigration, Customs, Recheck baggage, and Security. The flights will be United Airline coming into Denver and leaving both. I will be traveling with checked luggage, 3 adults, and a child that is 5. One of the adults is a Permenant Resident so needs to go through foreign immigration. My question is how can 1 hour and 20 minutes possibly be enough time? or am I wrong and we go through Immigration and Customs at our last stop houston? Please let me know soon.

Yes, you have the procedure correct. I believe Permanent Residents can use the same line as citizens. You should have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

Hi, I'll have 1:50 hours between arriving on an Lufthansa flight from FRA, and need to catch up the United via SkyWest Dba flight to Springfield Branson MO. If I book t over LH site would I still have to claim my bag when I arrive at the Denver airport. Thanks

Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to Concourse B for your departure gate. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

I have a Penair flight arriving in Denver at 8:50 am with a departing United flight at 9:57 am - carryon bag only. Is there enough time to make this connection? Thank you!

Yes, check in online for your United flight. You will arrive in concourse A and depart from Concourse B. They are connected inside security by the underground train.

Sweet! Thank you so much! Have a stellar New Year!

  • Penair to Southwest

How much time is needed to get from Penair terminal to Southwest terminal?

Denver only has one terminal. Southwest uses concourse C and Penair uses concourse A, they are connected inside security by the underground train. However, if you have checked bags, you have to go to the main terminal, claim them from PenAir and then re-check them with Southwest and go back through security and to concourse C.

I arrive on flight UA5946 from Edmonton at 9:00am. I depart on flight UA268 to San Francisco at 9:45am. Is 45 min enough time? I have checked bags.

Yes, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Edmonton. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on Concourse B.

I am flying frontier Chicago Ohare to United Gillette Wyoming on a smaller jet and then also return flight. I have a little over an hour between flights is that enough time?

Do you have checked bags? If so then that's not possible. If not, then check in online for your second flight both ways and you can make it if the first flights are on-time.

I will have checked bags, I had done this flight a year ago and I think I had similar time and a checked bag. Is there something different? How much time should I allow? Thanks for helping!

If you were able to do it a year ago with the same amount of time with checked bags you were really lucky. I personally wouldn't want less than 2 hours with checked bags.

Ok thanks! Even though I'm going from a larger plane to a small jet they will transfer my luggage over right? Or do I have to get it and take it to the smaller plane? I just know things change and they only fly into Gillette twice a day so I don't want to miss my flight. Your information is very helpful!

They transfer the bag for you so don't worry

    Ok thanks!!

Well I just found out what the truth is about what I have been hearing that Frontier Airlines won't transfer your luggage from airline to airline. If you book your connecting flight through Frontier they will transfer your baggage, however if you book your connecting flight through the other airline for example United instead of Frontier (bc it is a United flight to Gilette) they will NOT transfer your baggage. I just confirmed this with the Frontier airlines customer service. I wanted you to know since you help so many people. Again, thanks for all the info!

  • 58mins layover for international flight
    Dec 8, 2016

Hi. I got a flight from LAS to FRA with a 58min layover in DEN. The LAS-DEN leg is operated by united. the whole trip is booked on a Lufthansa flight number. Is that enough time for an intl. connection? Is there any additional passport and security check or do I have to re-checkin my luggage in DEN? I'm a bit concerned, as the Lufthansa tix advises to 'be at denver airport 2hrs before departure'. - Thanks for your help

There are no additional checks in Denver. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate on concourse B to your departure gate on Concourse A. You have enough time if the flight from Las Vegas is on-time.

  • United from San Diego to Lufthansa for Frankfurt (Ger) in 40 Minutes?

Are 40 Minutes enough to reach my international flight in denver? Is there another Security to pass?

No, you do not have to go through security. You have just enough time if your flight from San Diego is on-time. You have to take the underground train from concourse B where you arrive to Concourse A where you depart.

I'm flying from Cabo on United into Denver and need to catch another United flight in an hour and a half. Do I have time to clear customs, security, and baggage re-recheck?

Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.

My flight is Frankfurt-Denver-San Diego. I have 1 hour and 10 mins in Denver will it be benough? Where will be the custom check?c

In Denver you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate on Concourse B. This is a very difficult connection.
