Hi there, We are going to fly from Cancun to Vancouver through Denver. Will we need to collect luggage and re-check in when making connections at Denver airport? Thanks!

Yes, in Denver you will claim your baggage to go through US Customs, then re-check at the re-check desk.

next sat I'm flying from cedar rapids iowa on united and have a layover in Denver 45 min before I get on my next flight through united to portland oregon. I'm a nervous wreck I'm going to miss my next flight. is 45 min enough time to find where I'm going and is it enough time for my luggage to make its way to next flight. thanks in advance

You have enough time if the first flight is on-time. Both flights are in concourse B.

  • Clearing Customs (USA/Canada)

Traveling from Portland, OR to Winnipeg MB. Is 1 hour 5 min connection time enough to clear customs and change planes?

You do not go through US Customs when exiting the US. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.

I'm flying in united and have 59 minutes to get to Skywest to fly to Wichita. Are the gates close?

Yes, that is enough time if your first flight is on-time. All United and United Express flights are on Concourse B.

  • Map not real clear

I am flying into Denver from Tuscon should be landing at gate B51, my departing flight will be gate B59, the map makes it look like gates 59 through 79 are not attached to the terminal, can anyone clarify how to get from 51 to 59?

They are connected but you go down an escalator to get there and they are off on their own. Its quite a walk though.

Provided my flight from Tucson is on time should an 1 hr 42 min be enough time for me to make that connection? BTW thanks so much for this info, the map that is on the Denver airport website is not really clear.

Yes, that should be plenty of time. It should take less than 10 minutes to go between your gates.

I will be arriving on Skywest from Helena MT and then depart to MSP via United. I have 43 minutes going to MSP and then 31 minutes returning to MT. Is that enough time to get to the gates? Not sure where the gates will be.

All gates will be on Concourse B. 43 minutes should be plenty of time if the first flight is on-time. 31 minutes is a bit more risky, hope the first flight is early.

We are traveling from Wichita to Palm Springs and back on United with only a 50 minute layover each way. It is not clear on the airport map how to access gates B61 - 79. Do you walk outside, or is there a tunnel? It doesn't look connected. Not sure if we will have enough time if we gate check bags.

That end of the B concourse is just forked. you don't have to go outside or through a tunnel. You should have enough time.

  • Travel Time Between the terminal and concourse C

I have an incoming flight on Frontier and an outgoing flight on Southwest with a 2 hour layover. Question: Can I collect baggage from Frontier, recheck it with SWA, clear security and make it to my my departure gate in C all within a 2 hour time-frame?

It's barely possible as long as your Frontier flight is on-time and your bags come out quickly.

I'm flying in from Vancouver BC to Denver on United 658 and connecting to United 592. I only have a 45 minute window. Is that enough time to make the connection (baggage will be checked through to destination)

Yes, that is enough time if your first flight is on-time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Vancouver. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on concourse B.

  • Is 40 minutes enough to catch another seperately bought flight?
    Sep 3, 2015
I am going to fly with United airlines from Omaha to Denver. I will arrive at 07:07. The next flight to San Francisco will be again with United airlines at 07:55. The tickets are bougt seperately, not a connected flight. There is about 40 minutes between 2 flights. Is this time enough to catch the next flight with a carry-on baggage and also a checked baggage?

Contact United and have your two tickets joined on the same reservation. That way you can have your bags checked to SFO. Otherwise it will be impossible with checked bags. Without checked bags you can probably make it even if you don't join your two bookings, but you will have to print off both your boarding passes before you leave Omaha.
