  • Delta to United gates

Good afternoon. If I have a flight that lands at 9:13 am on Delta and another that leaves Denver on United at 9:50 am do I have enough time to get to my gate? I plan to have carry on. Thank you.

With carry-ons that should be enough time. You will arrive in concourse A and depart from concourse B. They are connected inside security by an underground train. Check in for your United flight online before you leave on your first flight.

  • Help please for daughter flying alone and changing planes in Denver.

My daughter is flying alone from Columbus, OH to Laramie, WY and is changing planes in Denver. Both flights are United but the first is described as "Operated by Shuttle America Airlines dba United Express" and the second is "Operated by Skywest Airlines dba United Express. " Will these flights both arrive and depart from the United Terminal? Does anyone know - will these be an easy connection for her? I also have no idea what "dba" means. Would really appreciate if anyone has any helpful information! My daughter is 19 and has never travelled alone, never been on a plane since a toddler. Thank you so much if anyone can help me here. Fiona

Hello Fiona, "dba" stands for Doing Business As. These will all be regional planes so they should all be out of United's terminal B. It looks like she'll get out at either Gate B48 or B50 in DEN and will go to B88 or B90 to get to Laramie, WY. Good luck to y'all!

Denver in fact only has one Terminal. Both flights will be on Concourse B. All she has to do in Denver is walk from her arrival gate to her departure gate. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to get between her two gates.

Hi, I'm flying from Calgary, Canada to Bozeman, US via Denver. Do I need to pick up my checked bags at Denver?

No, you do not. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. All you have to do in Denver is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate both in Concourse B.

Hello, I'll be coming from Vancouver to Kansas City on United, with a one hour layover in Denver. Is it true I'll go through customs in Vancouver? Will that be enough time in Denver?

Yes, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in Denver is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on concourse B.

What about the checked bags? Do I need to pick up my checked bags at Denver and recheck them if I fly from Canada to States transferring flight at Denver like discribed above? Thanks so much!

No, you don't. You will go through that whole process in Vancouver.

  • Layover and International Terminal

Hi! I have the option of booking a flight from BZN to YWG, with only a 40 minute layover in Denver. Sometimes, the gates are the same or next door to eachother for these flights so I'm not concerned about that BUT I heard the flights, going to Canada were moving to the international terminal, in which case I would have to haul arse to A from B... Does anybody know if this is true?

Denver doesn't have an International Terminal - so you heard wrong.

Well the A terminal, I guess it's not specifically for international flights. But regardless, I didn't hear wrong; information was a miscommunication. Thanks for the snarky reply though :)

A is not a terminal, it's a concourse and no United flights depart from A.

Hello, there is a flight I'm looking at from Boston to the Denver airport with a layover of 57 minutes. Is that adequate time assuming the flight is on time? Will I have already gone through security and so just have to walk to the next gate?

Yes, all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on Concourse B.

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Edmonton. All you have to do in Denver is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on Concourse B. You have enough time.

My flight depart from Tokyo to Lincoln and I will stop at Denver airport. I only have 1 hour 55 minutes connecting flight to Lincoln. Is it possible for me to make it?How I recheck my baggage and which gates do I go?

You will arrive in the A concourse and take a pedestrian bridge to US Immigration, then claim your baggage, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and take the underground train to Concourse B where your flight to Lincoln will depart.

I have enough time for connecting flight to Lincoln?

Yes, that should be enough time.

    Thank you

Hi I'm am going to be flying from Gunnison,CO to Denver and then to St. Louis this Friday and I am wondering if I will have to go through a second TSA screening in Denver before my departure. Thanks.

No, you don't have to go through security in Denver - just go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on concourse B as long as both flights are on United/United Express.

  • Do we have time?

Flying Vancouver-Denver-Raleigh. Elderly couple. Do we go through customs in Denver OR are we pre-cleared in Vancouver? We have 3 hours in Denver. Is this enough time? We are slow.

Yes 3hr is enough time. You will do all customs in Canada if a connection is involved. Are you staying on United he whole time?

  • Connecting flight at DEN 1 hour 10 minute

I will fly from Sioux Falls (FSD) to Vancouver(YVR) with a layover of 1 hour 10 minute at DEN. Is 1 h 10m enough for catching my connecting flight. As I am non resident alien, do I need to do any immigration related formalities before leaving DEN?

They will just check your passport when boarding the flight to Vancouver. There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Denver is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Denver. You have enough time.

    Thank you

  • United to Delta with no checked bags

I have the option of a 36 min connection from a flight from SFO-DEN (United, B gates) and then a Delta flight from DEN-MSN (A gates). Seems extremely short to me but don't plan on checking bags. Could I make it. Seems to be last flight out of DEN for MSN. Don't want to get stranded.

Delta does not fly DEN-MSN. Does this have a stop somewhere else first or are you not going to Madison? This is a very difficult connection, but not impossible if you are already checked in for your Delta flight.

    I think they ment MSP

I have a connection flight from Phoenix, AZ (PHX) in to DEN and then out to Orlando, FL (MCO) on June 8 and the connection is at 11:14pm and I have 45 minutes during my connection. Both flights are with Frontier airlines I booked together, and I have a checked bag. Will that be enough time to get on my next flight?? Do I have to go through security a second time in Denver? Will I have to recheck my bag??

You don't have to go through security or do anything with your bag. You just walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time as long as your flight from Phoenix is on-time.

Thank you sooo much that was a big relief!

I am flying from canada, calgary to Edmonton, then Denver to Reno. We land in Denver at 18:15, depart to Reno at 19:06. Is that enough time? Will we clear customs in Calgary? Or will we have to do this in DEN? AirCanada? Thanks :)
