I am travelling with my family with 2 kids, from SFO to DEN and DEN to CID, the layover time is 35 minutes and in my gmail, it shows a risky flights, Do I need to worry on this. Appreciate if you could assistance on this.

It's not impossible, but it certainly leaves no time to spare if the flight from SFO is delayed at all.

Hi I have booked a return flight from DEN back to LHR with a connection at DFW, was wondering is the arrival and departures in DFW far from each other as I have a one hour layover?

That is enough time. The Skylink train connects all gates inside security at DFW.

I am looking at a flight from GTF to FRA connecting in Denver. I will fly in on United Express and depart on Lufthansa. Is a 53 minute layover cutting it short to get from concourse B to A.? Thank you

That should be enough time if the flight from Great Falls is on-time.

  • Southwest JAX to SNA with a 35 minute layover

Is it time enough to make the connection?

Yes, it's possible. All Southwest flights are on the same concourse. It obviously doesn't leave any time to spare if the flight from Jacksonville is delayed.

Looking at a United flight from HNL to YYZ with a one hour connecting time. Is this sufficient, if they are all one ticket

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate both on Concourse B.

I have one bag not being carried on and I've never dealt with baggage claim in Denver. My flight is united and my connecting flight to LAX is united. My lay overtime is about an hour and forty. Do I have to go through security for all this again?

If both of your flights are domestic you don't have to do anything with your bags or go through security in Denver.

I'll be arriving in DEN from IAH on 7/23/16 with a 45m layover time. The problem I am encountering is that the comments AFTER I purchased my ticket state that my IAH departure flight is often delayed by 30+ min? Will I have time?? I'm worried. Because now UNITED tells me I'll have a flight change fee + difference in fare if I miss.

That is not true. If you miss your connection because the first flight is late then they rebook you on the next available flight with no charge. Whoever you talked to is either misinformed or didn't understand the question.

Thank you! So, I should be fine even if my departure flight is delayed and I miss my connecting flight. What a relief.

  • Delta to United gates

Good afternoon. If I have a flight that lands at 9:13 am on Delta and another that leaves Denver on United at 9:50 am do I have enough time to get to my gate? I plan to have carry on. Thank you.

With carry-ons that should be enough time. You will arrive in concourse A and depart from concourse B. They are connected inside security by an underground train. Check in for your United flight online before you leave on your first flight.

Thanks very much. I appreciate your prompt response.

will my daughter have enough time to make her connecting flight in Denver? She will have a38 min layover. Flight gets into Denver at 6:12pm on united express/gojet airlines. Next flight leaves at 6:50 on United express/Skywest. Also, will there be someone that could help her.

  • Help please for daughter flying alone and changing planes in Denver.

My daughter is flying alone from Columbus, OH to Laramie, WY and is changing planes in Denver. Both flights are United but the first is described as "Operated by Shuttle America Airlines dba United Express" and the second is "Operated by Skywest Airlines dba United Express. " Will these flights both arrive and depart from the United Terminal? Does anyone know - will these be an easy connection for her? I also have no idea what "dba" means. Would really appreciate if anyone has any helpful information! My daughter is 19 and has never travelled alone, never been on a plane since a toddler. Thank you so much if anyone can help me here. Fiona

Hello Fiona, "dba" stands for Doing Business As. These will all be regional planes so they should all be out of United's terminal B. It looks like she'll get out at either Gate B48 or B50 in DEN and will go to B88 or B90 to get to Laramie, WY. Good luck to y'all!

Denver in fact only has one Terminal. Both flights will be on Concourse B. All she has to do in Denver is walk from her arrival gate to her departure gate. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to get between her two gates.

Just to clarify DIA has three terminals, but only 1 (terminal B) for United.

That is incorrect. DIA has one terminal. It has three concourses.

No, you do not. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. All you have to do in Denver is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate both in Concourse B.

Hello, I'll be coming from Vancouver to Kansas City on United, with a one hour layover in Denver. Is it true I'll go through customs in Vancouver? Will that be enough time in Denver?

Yes, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in Denver is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on concourse B.

What about the checked bags? Do I need to pick up my checked bags at Denver and recheck them if I fly from Canada to States transferring flight at Denver like discribed above? Thanks so much!

No, you don't. You will go through that whole process in Vancouver.

  • Layover and International Terminal

Hi! I have the option of booking a flight from BZN to YWG, with only a 40 minute layover in Denver. Sometimes, the gates are the same or next door to eachother for these flights so I'm not concerned about that BUT I heard the flights, going to Canada were moving to the international terminal, in which case I would have to haul arse to A from B... Does anybody know if this is true?

Denver doesn't have an International Terminal - so you heard wrong.

Well the A terminal, I guess it's not specifically for international flights. But regardless, I didn't hear wrong; information was a miscommunication. Thanks for the snarky reply though :)

A is not a terminal, it's a concourse and no United flights depart from A.

Hello, there is a flight I'm looking at from Boston to the Denver airport with a layover of 57 minutes. Is that adequate time assuming the flight is on time? Will I have already gone through security and so just have to walk to the next gate?

Yes, all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on Concourse B.
