  • Connecting time and immigration

I am wondering if this connection time of 2 hours would be sufficient . I am carrying a Canadian Passport and would be connecting from Toronto to denver, then Denver to Tokyo Narita. WouldI need to cross customs twice at this airport?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto and there is no US Customs when exiting the US. All you have to do in Denver is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.

I am arriving by air Canada and leaving by united to reno. How much time I need

An hour would be enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate on A to your departure gate on B. The underground train connects all concourses inside security.

International arrivals would need to go through passport control/customs before transitioning to a domestic flight, unless there's a way to do this in Canada (I know this used to be possible at some airports). An hour might be tight depending on the lines.

All airports in Canada that have service to Denver, including Toronto, have US Immigration and Customs preclearance. All this passenger has to do in denver is go from their arrival gate to your departure gate.

When flying in from Denver air connections, do I have to go through security again and then get on my next flight? Is 55 minutes enough time to do that?

You need to go through security again in Denver. You need 2 hours between flights. http://www.sheridancountyairport.com/flight-info/security/

No, there is no need to go through security again in Denver. You can change between gates and concourses beyond security.

That is incorrect. Denver Air Connection arrivals are bussed to the main terminal because there is no TSA at Sheridan where the flight originates. Please read the link I attached in my first post.

Thank you, I already booked my flights according to your 2 hour suggestion:)

  • Two separate tickets with connection in Denver.

I purchase the tickets separately. Flying with Frontier from SLC to Denver, next from Denver to Cancun with a 1 hour 52 minute layover in Denver . Will my check in luggage be booked through to my final destination and I will not have to re-check it at Denver International Airport? Or it is better for me to get only Carry-on bags. Thanks in advance for your help.

Definitely only do carry-ons. Frontier doesn't check bags through to any other airlines or on two separate itineraries.

  • 33 minutes enough connecting time in Denver?

We are connecting in Denver, from UA flt from BWI to Skywest flt to Redmond, OR. Will the gates be close to each other?

All United and United Express gates are on Concourse B. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

In a previous post, you said that you would need 2 hours between flights to go through security. I am confused. I am flying from ND - Denver - Tokyo and I would like to know if I have to go through security again in Denver.. I have a 3 hour layover and am flying United

I have a 45 minute layover coming from MCI, connecting in Denver and then on to Boise on United. Should this be enough time?

Yes, all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on Concourse B.

Hi, I have a 70 minute connection flight in Denver through united airlines, with checked luggage, will I be able to make my flight to Calgary? Where will I deal with immigration?

Yes,that is enough time. All you have to do in Denver is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on Concourse B. You will go through Canadian immigration and customs when you get to Calgary.

Hi, and will I need to transfer my checked luggage? Last time I traveled to Canada I had to pick the luggage and drop it at another place. Thanks

No, you don't have to do anything with your baggage in Denver.

What happens if you miss a connecting flight - on United airlines. Will they help you get on the next available flight?

    Yes, they will.

  • United flights

I was wondering if united flights ever go to concourse A. I was just looking at the flight on Monday March 21 from Sioux Falls sd to Denver and it says it goes to west terminal gate A41. I thought all United flights go to concourse B. I need to know if I might have to go between concourse A and concourse B to catch another United flight.

The flight from Sioux Falls sd is on a United flight using an Airbus and the connecting flight I would need to get on would be using United express smaller plane

The only United flights that regularly use Concourse A are international arrivals. The A41 you're seeing is probably a placeholder, if you look at the history of the flight, it always arrives in B.

As expected, this flight arrived at Gate B43.

  • 33 min to catch my connecting flight

I'm coming from Huston to Denver and connecting to Minot all with United is 33 min going to get me to my Minot connection

It's barely enough time if your flight from Houston is on-time. All united gates are on concourse B.

Why would they offer this flight if there isn't enough time to get from one flight to the other??

It is enough time - barely.

  • DEN connection time

Flying into DEN from SFO and out to DCA with 42 minute layover. Both flights are on Frontier. Is this enough connection time?

Yes, that should be enough time if your flight from SFO is on-time. All Frontier gates at DEN are together in a small area of the A concourse.

I am flying from Kansas City Airport to Las Vegas through United Airline with the connection in Denver that is 30min. Will I have enough time to make the flight? And will my bags make the next flight? I am freaking out I don't know what to do if I miss the plane.

That is enough time but there's not much time to spare if there are any delays. All United gates in DEN are on concourse B. If you miss the connection you will be rebooked on the next available flight to Las Vegas.

What if my flight uses United Express? I know that lands way on the end. Will my connecting flight (United still) be in concourse B? I only have 45 minutes with kids...

sorry flying In and out of Denver...

I'm flying from Austin, TX to Denver to Reykjavík. Do I need to go through security again in Denver (whether checking a bag or not) and how much time do I need on my layover in Denver? Thanks so much!

I'm guessing you are planning on purchasing two separate reservations. If that's the case and you check a bag then you will have to exit security, claim your bag, re-check it with Icelandair, and go back through security. If you don't check a bag and you are able to check in online for your Icelandair flight, then you can go straight to your Icelandair departure gate in Concourse A. I recommend at least 2 hours without a checked bag and 3 hours with a checked bag.
