  • Checked luggage between different planes, same airline

I am a novice flyer (never flown), and I switch planes on Frontier in Denver Flight F9 0445 to flight F9 0769 with a 53 minute layover. If I check luggage, am I responsible, or does airline transfer it? Also is 53 minutes long enough to switch planes? Sorry, I have no idea what I'm doing here. Thank you for your help.

The airline will transfer it for you. 53 minutes should be plenty of time. All Frontier flights are on the same concourse in DEN, so you just have a short walk from one gate to the next.

Thank you for your prompt and courteous reply.

Flying PHX to DEN on United then DEN to YYZ on Air Canada. I have a 46 minute connection time. Is this enough?

You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time. There is an underground train that connects your arrival concourse (B) and your departure concourse (A).

My daughter is flying with a 2 yr and she will be on frontier from Seattle to Denver to Branson mo has a 40 min layover. With a child can she get to the next gate on time? And does the child has to be in a car seat on the flight?

Frontier uses Concourse A for both flights. On arrival, she should check the overhead screens for her connecting flight and gate number. Concourse A has gates A24 - A39 and A40 - A68 on either side of the center - plenty of time for transfer.

  • Getting to American Airline flight #2013 from Great Lakes flight 7196?

Which concourse will the American Airline flight #2013 leave from? And how to get there from Great Lakes gate??

While both American & Great Lakes use Concourse A of the Jeppesen Terminal, be mindful that if you have checked bags, Great Lakes may not transfer them to AA if you bought separate tickets - in which case you would have to claim your bags first and re-check them in with American. Concourse A has gates A24 - A39 and A40 - A68 on either side of the center.

We will be arriving from Hawaii through Phoenix on US Air & then leaving on SW for Orlando. We have a little over an hour & a half between arrival and departure. Will we have to get luggage, re-check it and go through security again? Or, is there a way to get the luggage transferred between airlines?

If flights are on one ticket, bags will most likely be transferred. To be sure, check with US Airways.

  • Connecting flights enough time?

If I fly from OKC to DEN on Frontier airlines flight 1185 and arrive at 14:02 and then fly from DEN to SFO on United airlines flight 644 leaving at 15:49. If I book the flights seperately will I have to claim my baggage at DEN and then re check in for my second flight or can I get it transferred automatically to my final destination of SFO. Also is this enough transfer time?

Booking separate flights will require you to get your bags on arrival and check them in with your connecting airline at the main Jeppeson terminal's level 6. Frontier will arrive in separate Concourse building A, while United uses separate Concourse building B. On arrival, you can take the AGTS train to the main Terminal. After re-checking in your bag, and going through security check, take the AGTS train back to Concourse B. No time to waste!

I don't think you'd have enough time to do all that - either book both flights on United or Frontier or don't check a bag or choose a later United flight.

  • flight to alamosa

said earlier flight departs for alamosa at 1:00 but it actually departs at 3:00 pm. Is there any indication this flight will be cancelled?

Who said that? The only Saturday flight I see nonstop from Denver to Alamosa leaves at like 4. Regardless, it's best to ask Great Lakes what is going on - they would know more than us.
