I will be flying into Denver on a Frontier flight getting in at 8:13 am and then leaving out on a Delta flight at 10:29 am to Lax. I have 1 checked luggage. Will I have enough time to catch the Delta flight to LA. Does this mean I will have to pick up my luggage from baggage claim and then recheck it and go back through security.

Yes, you will have to go to the main terminal, claim your bags, re-check them with Delta, go through security and to your departure gate. You have just enough time if everything goes perfectly.

  • Time to get from one end of terminal b to the other
    Sep 9, 2016
How long does it take to get from one end of terminal B to the other side of terminal B, gate B 63 to gate B 15?

Sorry... Should have said Denver International Airport.

B is a concourse. It should take about 10 minutes.

  • Denver to NY and Denver to Chicago
    Aug 25, 2016
Hi. We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) and will need to fly from Denver to NY next July (7/26/17). We live in the UK and therefore, somewhat unfamiliar with internal US flights. Everyone tells me that getting an internal flight in the US is very straight forward but I just wanted to check / ask if there are any suggestions: airlines, cheapest way to book etc, please. We will have 2 days in NY before connecting with a Virgin flight to London. Separately, my parents are not joining us in NY but leaving us in Denver and having to fly to Chicago to get their connection with Virgin to London (which leaves at 6pm from Chicago O Hare) that same day. I guess the same questions as above: any suggestions please on airlines, etc. I know its way in advance but would lie to get these sorted ASAP - if that is the most economical way to do it. Many thanks

United is the only airline that offers a robust schedule to both of those places from Chicago. Note that United flies to New York-Newark and New York-LaGuardia, not New York-JFK. If you absolutely need to fly to JFK then you need to fly JetBlue or Delta to New York, although since you have 2 days, I so no need to limit yourself to JFK. The best way to book is directly from the airlines.

    Many thanks for your post.

Sorry, I meant "from Denver" in the first sentence of my response.

  • Connection Time
    Jul 20, 2016
Hi, I have a 1hr connection time in Denver coming from Las Vegas, before my next flight to Cancun. Both flights are booked UA. Is this enough time, I will have checked baggage.

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on Concourse B.

    Thank you

  • Picking up an unaccompanied minor
    Jul 8, 2016
I have to pick up a minor on a Monday morning at 7:00 AM. I would like to know how much of a line at security on Monday mornings at 6 AM. Is it real busy at that time?

Extreme early mornings usually aren't too bad.

  • Help for a minor traveling alone
    Jul 6, 2016
Will there be someone that can help my daughter get to her connecting flight on time?

If she is flying using unaccompanied minor service, if not, no. I don't know how old your daughter is, but Denver is a very simple airport.

  • Will 43 minutes be enough time?

  • United Express Gates
    May 18, 2016
Hello there! I will be traveling through DEN with tight layovers via United (United Express). Are the United Express gates generally close to one another in the B Concourse? Are there specific gate numbers United Express usually uses? Thank you for any assistance provided!

United Express flights use the high-numbered end of the B concourse. Walking all the way from one end to the other of B only takes 15 minutes.

    Thank you, ZAP!

  • How long will it take to come through customs arriving from Iceland?
    May 18, 2016
I'm trying to figure out what time to tell someone to pick us up. Our flight lands at 6:35 PM; is one hour enough to go through customs & get bags?

    That should be enough time.

  • Denver to San Francisico
    Mar 20, 2016
I am flying United Airlines from Detroit to San Francisco my time is 42 minutes to get to my plane. Do you think that will be enough time?

Yes, if your flight from Detroit is on-time that's enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. All United gates are on concourse B.

  • Layover time do I have enough?
    Jan 25, 2016
I am coming in on United at 11:58 and my connecting flight to Houston leaves at 12:35, do you think I will be able to make this flight?

Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time and they are both on United. All United gates are on the B concourse.

  • What time to get there?
    Dec 3, 2015
I have a flight leaving at 7:40 pm on Sat 12/5, what time should I really get there? no checked bags, and if I were to have to return a rental car? Just wondering if really need two hours for security?

No, you don't really need 2 hours. This saturday will also be a very un-busy travel day. Saturday is the slowest travel day and early December is one of the slowest travel periods of the year. I'd say plan on dropping your rental car off at about 6:15 and you'll be fine.

thank you for your quick reply

Not familiar with DIA & a Novice flyer arriving United concourse B, least complicated way to main terminal baggage pickup.

Just follow the signs to baggage claim. You will go down an escalator and get on a train to the main terminal.

  • Connecting Flight
    Oct 22, 2015
If I am flying from NY connecting in Denver to go to California, do I have to take any shuttle or is it in same terminal? NO airline change, just a layover.

Depends if your flying on the same airline or not. What are your flights?

If both flights are on United you just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on concourse B.
