I have a 30 minute layover in DTW flying from SFO and leaving to ALB. Delta airlines. Only have a back pack and I am a fast runner.. what are my chances?
You have a good chance if the first flight is on-time.
Flying back home from to St. Louis after our cruise ends in Montreal. From what I understand we go thru US customs in Montreal. Do we need to claim our luggage in Detroit and recheck it or will it be automatically put on our connecting flight to STL. Will we have to go thru TSA screening again too?
Only have 1 hour between flights!!
You will not have to claim your bags in Detroit. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I am flying in to DTW on delta and have one hour to make my next delta flight. Is that enough time for me to make it in the terminal and also for my checked baggage to make it?

thanks
If the first flight is domestic that is enough time.
Hi,
Iam arriving from Germany with Delta 87 at 14:10 and have connections with Delta 6186 at 15:25 so it's only a 75 minutes layover....
Is that enough with immigration and customs, security and bagge recheck?
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi, I've taking Delta 3869 from Washington Dulles to DTW E.H. McNamara Terminal, landing at 11.03. My connection to Singapore is using Delta DL 275, from DTW E.H. McNamara Terminal at 12.26.
Do I have enough time to clear US immigration?
Can I do a through check-in for my suitcases in Washington Dulles and only take them out in Singapore? Or do I need to take out my suitcases in DTW for some clearance and re-check-in them again for my international flight connection?
Will the terminal for my arrival from Washington Dulles the same as the departure terminal for my international flight? Or at least nearby?
Thank you.
There is no US Immigration when leaving the US. All you have to do in Detroit on your way to Singapore is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Both flights are in the same terminal.
Hello. I would like to ask your for help.If I am flying from Moscow to Amsterdam and then to Detroit (where UScustom is ) and I have 2hrs 23 mins..) is it enough to get through customs and then I have a flight to indianapolis.

I'm flying from New Orleans to Minnesota.I have a 50 mi Utes layover in Detroit do I need to get a new boadering pass in Detroit to get to Minnesota?
You will be issued both boarding passes in New Orleans if both flights are on the same reservation.
Hi,
I am traveling from PVG (Shanghai) to SDF (Louisville). My flights are with Delta and connection to SDF is SkyWest DBA Delta. Is 1hr 50mins layover in Detriot enough to clear immigration, baggage collection, customs, transfer to domestic departure to re-check-in? Also, how do I go to domestic departure hall for re-check-in?
Thanks
Yes, that is enough time. You will be checked into both flights. There are no separate domestic and international departure halls. After you clear customs you can go straight to security and to your departure gate.
Hi, I am flying from Columbus to Detriot and then to Shanghai. I have a layover in Detriot that is only 50 min and all of my flights are with Delta. Will I have enough time to go through customs and do I need to recheck my bag in DTW since I am getting on an international flight?
There is no US customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Detroit on your way to Shanghai is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Hi , my sister is coming from Paris to Miami via Air France , layover in DTW 1H45 min then Delta to Miami ,is the connection in the same terminal ? does she have to clear customs and pick up luggage and recheck it again ? is 1h45 min enough to do all that ? Thank you
Yes, both flights are on the McNamara Terminal. She will go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, re-check her bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to her departure gate. That is enough time if everything goes smoothly.
