I will be flying from Frankfurt to Toronto (YYZ) with a 4 hour layover in Detroit. Both flights are with Delta. Will I have to pick up my checked bag in Detroit - or will the airline transfer it to me?

    What airlines are you flying?

    All flights are with Delta

Yes, you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. Everything is in the McNamara Terminal. You have plenty of time.

I am arriving iDTW @11;19 am on Delta and leaving at 12pm on Delta on 1/19. Is there enough time for connecting to my next flight?

If the first flight is domestic that is just enough time if the first flight is on-time, but leaves no time to spare if it's not.

We have 1.37 hours from landing from Amsterdam before our flight to Orlando, we are English, will this be enough time?

Yes, that should be enough time if the flight from Amsterdam is on-time.

I came from Ottawa at 9:10 a.m to Detroit at 10:00a.m and my connection time is only 50min to change air plane one Delta to another Delta airline. Do you think is it enough time to transit? Regards, Tim

Yes, that is enough time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Ottawa. All you have to do in Detroit is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in the McNamara Terminal.

I am flying into DTW from Montreal which has the passport precheck and flying domestic to San Antonio, Texas (SAT). The problem is I only have a 45 minute layover. Will this be enough time assuming the first flight is on time?

Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.

I am a returning study abroad student and I will be flying into DTW from CGD Paris. I have a 1.5 hour layover before my flight to CGV. Is this enough time to go through customs and make it to my next flight? Will I have to retrieve and re-check my bags?

You will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. You should have enough time.

That is correct - however, what is "CGV"? CGV is the code for Caiguna, Australia, surely you aren't flying there.

I am flying to terminal C from Soo Michigan and need to get to A to fly to Vegas with a 35 minute layover time. Will this be enough time if planes are on time and I motor it with only carry-on bag?

A and C are just concourses, not terminals. Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.

I will be flying Delta SBN - DTW - DFW in late March 2017 with about a 40 minute layover at DTW. Will this be enough time to make my connecting flight?

It's possible. It doesn't leave any time to spare if the flight from South Bend is delayed.

I'm arriving on a Delta flight from London with a 1:22 layover before my Delta flight to Omaha. Is this enough time to complete customs, baggage and catch our next flight? (2 adults and 2 small children)

It's just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
