CHANGE PLAANESSep 24, 201210IS 30 MIN LONG ENOUGH TO CHANGE PLANES ON DELTA FLIGHT?BUTCHposted on Mon, Sep 24[ Reply ][ Like ]While Delta uses the McNamara Terminal, I cannot tell you which gate you arrive at or depart from (A,B, or C gates). Concourse A of McNamara has 1.5 miles of moving walkways, but also uses the Express Tram serving 3 stations - the South station near gate A11, the Terminal station in the center near the water feature, and the North station near gate A67. Concourse B, gates B1-21, (left) and Concourse C, gates 1-43 (right) can only be reached from Concourse A, at its center, by using the tunnel. Note: C gates C1-C7 are on the lower level, reached in the center of B/C via escalator. Half an hour would suffice - however, if you are an international arrival and need to go through customs clearance, you would not make it.mosep2posted on Mon, Sep 24

Terminals & GatesSep 11, 201210Arriving on Delta Flt 57 from London connecting with Delta Flt 5149 to DC. Whish Terminal & Gates do I arrive and depart from? How do I get from one to the other?JDGposted on Tue, Sep 111. All international arrivals need to go through passport control, pick up luggage & go through customs clearance, then re-check-in bags for connecting flight. I cannot give you the gate number you arrive at /depart from; however, you will arrive at the McNamara Terminal at either Concourses A, B or C, which have corresponding gates. 2. How to get from B19 to A8?Sep 5, 201220We have a 42 minute layover to get from gate B19 TO Gate A8. How do I get from the B concourse to the A terminal? Are they on different levels? How long do you think it would take to walk (with a 2-year-old in a stroller)? Any help would be appreciated!Hendrix1326posted on Wed, Sep 5Upon arrival at DTW, McNmara Terminal, Concourse A, gate A8, take either: the Express Tram at Gate A11; gett off at the Terminal Station located at the Water Feature between gates A38-40. You need to take the tunnel there to get to Concourse B/C (B to the left - first gate B1, 3,5,7,11,15 & B19. - OR- use the moving walkways at Concourse A up to gate A38 and then take the same tunnel to your B gate. 40 mins should be plenty for you.wesep12posted on Wed, Sep 5

How many minutes from gate to gateAug 22, 201210How long will it take a slow-ish walker to get from C6 to C30?markposted on Wed, Aug 22This is the layout of Concourse C at DTW: Concourse C serves American Airlines; at left leads gates C8 through C43. These gate areas are arranged in five clusters, four of which have three gates on each side, the last cluster has gates C32-43. An elevator between Concourses B & C leads to the Lower Level gates C1 to C7. - As you can see you arrive on the lower level and need to take the elevator up, then proceed to the cluster with gate 30. Impossible to give you connecting time.weaug12posted on Wed, Aug 22

???Jul 20, 201210im arriving at mcnamara from toronto and need to catch another flight to korea. will i have to go through passport check, customs clearance, and re check bags before i get on my next flight? may be a.dumb question but please help!!canposted on Fri, Jul 20Your questions are perfectly legitimate. 1. As Pierson Airport has U.S. customs pre-clearance, take advantage of it and save time at U.S. arrival. 2. If you have two different airlines for each leg of your journey, do make sure that the first airline transfers your bags to the second one (if not, you would have to retrieve your bag and re-check it at that airline's counter. 3.Certain airlines serve at McNamara, others at the North Terminal. Your ticket should indicate your connecting terminal /gate, so will the overhead screens on arrival. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/dtw, click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, then scroll down to the details text. Good luck.frjul12posted on Fri, Jul 20

help/out of curiosityJul 20, 201210My delta flight lands at the mcnamara terminal and i have to catch my next flight (also a delta flight) to korea an hour later. I know both these flights are in the macnamara terminal, but is there a specific concourse international flights usually leave from? and if so does it take long to get from concourse to concourse?apposted on Fri, Jul 20Yes, Delta is in the McNamara Terminal - no listing as to which Concourse. Most likely you will arrive on level 1 of the main building (domestic arrivals - as you cleared at YYZ) and connect at Concourse A. All concourses have corresponding gates, i.e., A gates: to the left A1-38; to the right A40-75. Signs will guide you to the pertaining concourse you need.frjul12posted on Fri, Jul 20
