Im arriving from Paris to detriot and have a 2 and a half hours of layover is that enough to clear customs and make it to the gate. Im mexican
Yes, that should be enough time.
I will be arriving at DTW and have one hour to get to the other terminal to board and American airline flight. Is this enough time? Does anyone have any tips that might help?
You don't have enough time. The Shuttle bus runs infrequently and takes awhile. Where are you flying into Detroit from and on what airline?
Arriving from Europe as a non-US citizen on DL139, I have 1 hr 20 mins to catch my connection DL4967. Is that enough time for claiming & rechecking my baggage?
Any tips what I can do to save time?
Just move as quickly as you can. You can make it if everything goes smoothly.
I am flying to Japan from JFK via DTW. I have a 40m layover in DTW. Is that enough time? It's a delta flight, it's all 1 ticket. I can't tell what the terminal/gates are.
Both flights will be in the McNamara Terminal. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I will be traveling later this week From FLL on DL2444 and be transferring to DL2110 to SLC... I only have a 30 minute layover. Is this enough time? Are the gates relatively close?
Thank you for your time
Both flights will be on Concourse A of the McNamara Terminal. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Based on previous flights on Delta's website, I'm assuming my first flight will arrive in Concourse A, and my second will leave from Concourse B. Is 80 minutes enough time, and is there a post- TSA way to connect?
Yes, A and B are connected inside security. That is plenty of time. it shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to go between gates if the first flight is domestic.
I'm flying Delta flight189 from Boston to Detroit then am on another Delta flight 189 - have to change planes and go to a different gate- to be on Flight 189 to Beijing. I have 1 hour and 9 min to get on the next plane. Will I make it and will my luggage too? Going on March 31, about 3 weeks from now, thanks.,
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on Concourse A of the McNamara Terminal.
I'm a US citizen arriving in Detroit on a direct flight from Beijing with my Vietnamese wife. We have 1 hour and 40 mins to get to our connecting domestic flight to St. Louis. Is this enough time to go through all customs and immigration?
Yes, that is enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Flying with a lay-over of 1 hour 20 minutes in Detroit. Will that be enough time for the plane to Ft. Lauderdale?
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thank you Zap. I forgot to mention that both flights are Delta. Is it then still enough time for the lay-over from an international flight to a domestic flight.
Yes, I assumed as much.
I'm flying Chicago to Paris with a layover in Detroit. Do I need to claim my bags in Detroit and then go to an International terminal to check in again? All of the travel is on one reservation.
All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in the McNamara Terminal. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.
