I have a 56m layover at DTW.Coming from Nashville ,going to Japan. All are Delta flights.Where do i do immigration and is there enough time ?
There is no US Immigration when leaving the US. You will go through Japanese Immigration in Japan. You have enough time. All you have to do in Detroit is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Arriving spirit airlines gate d11 @ 10:43 can I make it to gate d14 departing at 11:15?
Yes, that's possible if the first flight is on-time. Walking between the two gates will take like 2 minutes.
We are arriving to Dtw McNamara on a Delta flight from Pellston at 2:53 and have a connection on United in the north terminal with 2 bags at 4:15 will we have enough time to make connection?
That is a very difficult connection, especially if you have checked bags.
Where is the shuttle connection to take me from the North Terminal to the McNamara Terminal?
On the lower level of each, I don't know exactly where it picks up in the North Terminal but there should be a sign saying "shuttle to McNamara Terminal". It drops off by the car rental shuttles in the McNamara Terminal. Be sure to leave plenty of time as the shuttle does not run frequently.
Thank you!!
Flying from SDF to JFK with a 1-hour layover in Detroit. I think this is enough time, but I want to confirm before I book. I have an international flight leaving from JFK several hours later, but it is ticketed separately and I don't want to risk missing that flight.
Yes, that is enough time for your connection in Detroit (assuming both flights are on Delta).
I have a flight arriving in North terminal at 7:13pm and departing Macnamara at 8:25pm. Do I have to get my back age due to terminal change? Will I have time?
Delta does not interline with any of the airlines in the North Terminal, so yes, you will have to transfer your bags yourself. You have no chance of making this connection with checked bags.
I land in DTW at 11:28 and depart to South Korea ICN at 12:12. This leaves me with a 44 minute layover. Will I make the connecting flights in time?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I land at McNamara Terminal at 6:40am (Delta) and have an outbound Spirit Flight from North Terminal @ 7:28am. Will I make it?
You have zero chance of making that.
I will be on a flight from SCE, PA to DTW then to Seoul, Korea.
There is just 50 min layover between domestic to international flights.
The gates, as I understand, are C10 and A60 on the same terminal which is McNamara terminal.
Unfortunately, I will have to do a baggage claim before making an international flight.
Do I need go through security check which is time consuming ?
and enough time to make it ?
Any advice will be helpful. thank you
You do not have to claim your bags if both flights are on the same reservation as there is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I have a 30 minute layover in DTW flying from SFO and leaving to ALB. Delta airlines. Only have a back pack and I am a fast runner.. what are my chances?
You have a good chance if the first flight is on-time.
