The passenger terminal at Duluth Airport - with its distinctively peaked roof - is easy to navigate, with baggage claim and ticketing on the first level and gates and eating options on the second level. Presently, enclosed walkways from the parking area, past the construction area for the new terminal on either side of it,  lead to the terminal.

The new LEED-certified passenger terminal under construction across from the present terminal is scheduled for completion late 2012, is to have an enlarged screening area with concessions and amenities and streamlined passenger screening, will be ADA-compliant and have energy-efficient construction.
