Peak travel periods will occur on a daily basis. These daily peaks are expected to occur between 5:00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M. and between 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.. Airline officials recommend that you arrive at Eppley well in advance of your scheduled departure time. Check with your airline in advance to determine the status of your flight. Passengers may be dropped off curbside on the front terminal drive, but no parking or waiting is allowed. Skycaps and airline personnel may be available to assist passengers with special needs (wheelchairs, etc.). Vehicles cannot be left unattended on the front drive at ANY time. Unattended vehicles are ticketed and towed immediately. All vehicles entering the airport are subject to search. Remote parking is available and shuttle buses carry patrons to and from the terminal building. Carry a photo ID on your person at all times. Only ticketed passengers are allowed through the security screening checkpoints to go to the gate areas. Persons meeting arriving passengers should meet them in the main terminal building or baggage claim areas. All electronic devices (cell phones, laptop computers, pagers, PDA's, etc.) are x-rayed at the security screening checkpoints. Accessible property processing through the screening checkpoint is limited to one bag plus one personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop, etc.) per passenger. Medical assistance items (crutches, wheelchairs, etc.) are exempt from this requirement. Remove all metal objects and electronic devices (jewelry, watches, pens, belts, coins, cell phones, PDA's, pagers, etc.) from your person before passing through the screening magnetometers. Passengers may be asked to remove items including footwear and hats so they can be inspected by screening personnel. Certain items are not permitted to be carried through the checkpoint on a person or in carry-on baggage. This includes metal scissors with pointed tips, knives of any blade length and type, multi-tools, straight razors, toy weapons, box cutters, mace, pepperspray and etc. These types of items are confiscated at the security checkpoints. These and other similar items may be placed in checked baggage. Do not leave baggage or other personal belongings unattended. Be aware that passenger security screening can be time consuming.
