Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has one security checkpoint located on the ground floor of Terminal A, near the entrance to the departure gates. Passengers are required to pass through security screening before entering the departure area. The airport advises passengers to arrive at least two hours before their flight to allow enough time for security screening and other pre-flight procedures.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Passengers who wish to bypass the regular security lines can purchase access to the airport's Fast Track service. This service allows passengers to use a dedicated lane for security screening, which can save time and reduce wait times. Fast Track access can be purchased online or at the airport, and is available to all passengers regardless of airline or class of travel. The Fast Track lane is located near the regular security checkpoint on the ground floor of Terminal A.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control is located on the first floor of Terminal A, near the baggage claim area. All passengers arriving at ERF from outside the Schengen Area are required to pass through passport control before exiting the airport. The airport advises passengers to have their passport and travel documents ready for inspection, and to allow enough time for processing and possible delays.
Terminal B is currently not in use and all flights operate from Terminal A.
Airport Lounge Locations
Erfurt Weimar Airport may be small, but it still offers a few lounges for travelers to relax in before their flight. The only lounge available at the airport is the Airport Lounge, which is located in Terminal A. This lounge is accessible to all passengers, regardless of airline or class of service.
