Falls International INL Airport Overview

Falls International Airport INL serves the city of International Falls in Koochiching County, northern Minnesota, and also northwestern Ontario, including the cities of Littlefork, Big Falls, Ranier, Ash River, Kabetogama, Baudette, Warroad, Fort Frances, Rainy River and Aitikokan, Emo and Kenora.
INL is also used for private, general aviation purposes. It  is a desginated international port off entry to the U.S., with U.S. Customs services. For general airport information call : 218-283-8740.

INL Airport is located in International Falls - near the U.S./Canada border - and serves as U.S. Port of Entry. International Falls is known as the “Icebox of the Nation" - you need a jacket even in the summer months. 

Even though Falls Airport is mostly used for general aviation,  Delta (operated by SkyWest), tel.  800-221-1212)  provides nonstop jet services to Minneapolis/St. Paul.  Sun Country airlines offers vacation charters (tel. 822-666-0671).

The 2014 passenger count for enplanements was 193,000.

The present passenger terminal at Falls Airport offers free internet service and houses rental car counters (Avis tel. 218.285.7799; Ford: tel. 218.283.8486; & GM Car: tel. 218.283.3471) and offers free WiFi access.
Parking is free and available steps from the terminal. 

Current & future Airport developments:  In June 2014 Falls Airport was accepting bids for its Terminal & expanson project. No further news have yet been forthcoming.
