International Falls Airport INL is located in International Falls, Minnesota and near the U.S./Canada border. International Falls is known as the “Icebox of the Nation" - you need a jacket even in the summer months. INL Airport serves the residents of northern Minnesota and northwestern Ontario, including the cities of Littlefork, Big Falls, Ranier, Ash River, Kabetogama, Baudette, Warroad, Fort Frances, Rainy River and Aitikokan, Emo and Kenora. It is located 295 miles north of the Twin Cities in the Rainy Lake area, which includes Voyageurs National Park, Minnesota’s only national park.
