Idaho Falls Regional Airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal building. The checkpoint is easily accessible from the ticketing and baggage claim areas. Passengers are advised to arrive at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Idaho Falls Airport does not currently offer fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, allowing them to go through a dedicated security lane and keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets. Passport & Immigration Control Locations
IDA Airport does not have international flights, therefore, there are no passport or immigration control locations at the airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At the airport, the TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints are located near the main entrance of the terminal. Passengers can expect standard TSA security measures, including the removal of shoes, belts, and jackets, as well as the screening of carry-on items. TSA Pre Check is also available for eligible passengers, allowing for expedited security screening without the need to remove shoes, laptops, liquids, or belts. IDA does not currently have a Global Entry enrollment center. However, there are several enrollment centers located within a reasonable driving distance, including in Salt Lake City, UT and Bozeman, MT. Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Applicants must complete a background check and in-person interview at an enrollment center before being approved for the program.

Airport Lounge Locations
