Arriving on 3923 from Havana (delayed) at 4:25 pm gate A5 and departing to BWI at 5;10 pm at gate B5 - do we have a shot at making this>??? Elderly travellers.
We're flying to FLL from Baltimore for a connecting flight to Bahamas with two checked bags in May. One flight options gives us about two hours and the other about 50 min lay over. Is 50 mins enough time ? -and do we have to get our checked bags and re check them in ? Flying southwest both flights. And lastly do we have to go though another security check ? TIA
Either works. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hi, 2xinternational passengers arriving at FLL at 09:28 from LGA need to catch the 11:45 departure to GCM. Is this enough time please?
If both flights are on the same reservation that should be enough time.
Jet Blue flight from Aruba to FLL scheduled to land at 6:08 pm, and then try to make a connecting flight on Southwest that departs at 8:15, so different terminals. Checked bag. Is that enough time? Will Global Entry or TSA Precheck help?

TIA
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Aruba, so all you have to do in FLL is claim your bags from JetBlue, take them to Terminal 1, re-check with Southwest and go through security. You should have enough time.
Hi, if i'm on an international flight from trinidad to boston with a layover time of 3h 50mins at hollywood international airport, would that be sufficient layover time?
Yes, that should be plenty of time.
Two questions, same trip. For the first question:

1) I am flying from Detroit to FLL then FLL to Montego Bay. It will be a Sunday morning, and I have a 3.5 hour layover in FLL. There aren't any longer layover options in FLL for this trip. I believe we are going to try to just do carry-on and avoid checked bags. Based on experiences, enough time?

2) On the way home we have a 2.5 hour layover in FLL, even shorter which worries me more. We can't do overnight due to work hours. I understand that Spirit has awful on-time rates. However, I was curious if this would be enough time? There will be two adults (myself and girlfriend, both with passports, and limited electronics (2 cellphones)).

Thanks again,

Zach G.
That should be plenty of time on the way down and enough time on the way back if the flight is anywhere near on-time.
Hi, I am flying from JFK to LiMA with a 37 min layover in FLL. Both flights with Jet Blue, same terminal (3). Carry on only. Is it enough time to the connecting flight?
It's possible but it leaves no time to spare.
I have 37 min to connect to my next flight to Lima in FLL. Is it enough time? (Same terminal)
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time but leaves no time to spare.
Hello, Im travelling from Dubai to Lima via FLL and I would like to know if I will have to claims my bags when arriving at the airport and then check them for the Jet Blue flight (I will arrive on Emirates). I believe my bags will be tag to final destination. Thanks
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the JetBlue check-in desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.
Thanks for the information.
I'm flying Bogota to JFK via FLL on jetblue, the flight arrives at terminal 4 and the other flight to JFK leaves from terminal 3 how will I make the terminal connection? (I have one checked bag)
You will go through US Immigration, claim your bag, go through US Customs, take your bag to the JetBlue check in counter in T3 to re-check it, then go through security and to your departure gate.
Thank you for your response so how would I get from one terminal to the other?
You have to walk. The airport is U-shaped and each terminal is only accessible by the common walkway outside. It's mostly covered and the distance between T3 and T4 is not far (it's a smaller airport). The biggest hassle is picking up your bags and checking them back in. Also, bag pick-up is downstairs and check-in is upstairs - both levels have connected walkways. There are typically less crowds upstairs, so personally, I'd use the upper walkway.
