I'm planning on flying from Detroit to FLL to Medellin. Flight lands at 9:33am in FLL and I have a flight leaving for Medellin at 10:47. I only have a carry-on bag. Will I have enough time to go through customs and make the flight....Thx
I didn't mean going thru customs, only making the flight in time to Medellin
I'm traveling to Honduras with a 4,5 hour layover in Fort Lauderdale, but I need to pick up my luggage and recheck it for some reason - will this be time enough? My first flight will land at 7pm, so I'm guessing the airport will be busy then
What airlines are you flying?
I'm flying in from Copenhagen with Norwegian and leaving for San Pedro Sula 4,5 hours later with Spirit Airlines
You need to claim and re-check your bags since neither airline has interline agreements with other airlines. You should have plenty of time.
I booked a flight through Spirit from Medellin (MDE) to Boston (BOS). There's a layover in FLL and I'm scheduled to arrive at 6:40 pm; then have to catch the connecting flight at 8:10 pm (all with same airline: Spirit). It seems to me that Spirit is barely giving us enough time to make this connection. I will be carrying on bags - but is this enough time to get through customs and make my connecting flight?
Yes, that is enough time if the flight from Medellin is on-time.
Hey, I'm new to the US. I am planning to travel from New Orleans to Fort Lauderdale Terminal 1. Then I have 2 hours and 51 minutes before my flight departs to Havana from Terminal 4. I need to collect luggage and re-check it. How long does it take to get through domestic in US, do i have enough time?
Yes, that should be enough time if your flight from New Orleans is on-time. All you have to do in FLL is claim your bags, take them to Terminal 4, re-check them, and go through security.
I will fly from Cartagena with Spirit Airlines and then have a connecting flight 4 hours later with Norwegian to Oslo. Between the flights I need to fetch my luggage and check in again. I am a German citizen. Will I need a visa for that?
You do need to complete ESTA (Germans do not require a true visa enter or transit the US).
