Can I buy ipad from duty free at airportNov 13, 201210Hi i am goin to be flying from this airport after a cruise holiday and would like to know if ipads are available to purchase in a duty free shop as i have heard that they are cheaper in the USA than here in the UK. Thankswhirlwindposted on Tue, Oct 23[ Reply ][ Like ]I really doubt it - iPads are only sold in the US at Apple stores, some cell phone stores, and some "big box" retailers. There is an Apple store about 5 miles north of FLL at the Galleria Mall. You could take a taxi there, pay them to wait while you bought the iPad, then have them take you back if you have time - though the cost of that may negate the cost savings by buying the iPad in the US.ZAPposted on Tue, Nov 13
