Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
FWA Airport has two security checkpoints located in the terminal building. The first checkpoint is located near the ticket counters, while the second checkpoint is located near the gates. Both checkpoints are equipped with advanced technology to ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport does not currently offer fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to use dedicated screening lanes and keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, as well as leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. TSA PreCheck is available at both security checkpoints at FWA.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Fort Wayne Airport does not have international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. To enroll in Global Entry, passengers must complete an online application, schedule an interview at an enrollment center, and pay a fee.
