I am flying from LA to Rome in summer. Our layover is in Frankfurt with 1 hour. Is that enough time to transfer luggages. The flight is on 1 ticket with Luthansa.
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
My flight is from Bangaloreto Stuttgart via frankfurt. (Both flights lufthansa). I have a layover time of 1 hours... Is this enough for transfer.
It will be difficult unless the flight from Bangalore arrives early.
I am flying Lufthansa and I have a three hour layover in Frankfurt from my flight from Atlanta and then I go on to Rome. Is there enough time to go to the lounge or would you advise against it? What are some good ideas for things to do at Frankfurt during our connection?
yes that is enough time to go to a lounge
Goodday, I have a flight from Berlin (TXL) to Frankfurt (FRA) with 1.5 hours between flights. I believe Air Berlin arrives at terminal 2 and Air Canada departs from terminal 1. Guessing there would be an exit passport control plus change of terminal, is this doable (with no checked baggage?). Or would it be best to book a Lufthansa connection out of Berlin? **The ticket would be separate tickets.
With no checked baggage this is probably doable.
I am a lebanese passport holder with a valid US visa.

Traveling from Canada to Istanbul via Frankfurt Main.

2 different airlines:

Air Canada: from Canada to Frankfurt
Lufthansa: from Frankfurt to Istanbul

Ps: I do not have any luggages. Just a carry-on baggage of 5 kg.

My question is the following:

Do i need a transit/visitor Visa for the layover? (i have a valid US visa)

i read online that i will need a transit/visitor visa if i want to to pick up my baggage and/or have to check-in again.

in my case, i do not have any baggages. but i need to check in again at the lufthansa counter to get my boarding pass to Istanbul??

Do i need a visa / transit visa in my case?

thank for your help.
Since you have a valid US Visa and both flights are in Terminal 1 you can stay in the sterile transfer area and do not need a Schengen transit visa.
I am having flight from Ljubljana to Toronto with connection in Frankfurt. Plane arrives to Frankfurt at 8:25 and then departures from Frankfurt at 9:20 AM. Is 55 min layover enough for international flight?
That should be just enough time if the flight from Ljubljana is on-time.
Thanks Zap, yeah i also think it is doable. i have JP116 flight that comes to terminal 1. Due to small plane there is no gate but need to take the bus. I then go with AirCanada 873 flight that is also terminal 1, gate B should be doable ....i am little worried above the baggage might not make it :=.
Adria flights are usually on-time --> as per last month stats earliest arrival was at 8:08, while latest was 8:38 ....but most were on site around 8:20AM
I am travelling on 1 ticket from London with B.A via Frankfurt to Namibia with Air Namibia. The layover time is 1hr & 15 mins. is this enough time? Do I have to collect my luggage and check in again as I am using 2 different airlines? Thanks for any advice.
I am flying from Zurich to Bucharest, both are Luftansa flights and its a single ticket. Is 1 hour 10 minutes enough to change the planes in Frankfurt ?
Hi. Is this enough time to get to my connecting flight? Both flights are with lufthansa. They advise online that you should have a minimum of 2 hours layover for international flights.
That should be enough time. All you have to do in Frankfurt is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I would be having a 7 hrs layover at FRA on my way to Orlando on single ticket by Lufthansa from Nigeria. Would I need to collect my luggage at FRA? Would I have to stay within the Airport premises for the 7 hours lay over as I would be traveling with my kids?
No, you don't have to do anything with your baggage. Unless you have a German visitor visa you have to stay inside the airport.
Thanks. But I would have places to relax for the lay over period ?
Yes, FRA Terminal 1 has many amenities in the international transit area.
Thanks. Very Useful
