Arriving Frankfurt by AC0838 at 6.15 from YOW, Ottawa and leaving FRA by LH 0308 to Florence FLR at 7.40 (usually AC flight pax need to be bused in terminal. With short shuttle to terminal, passport control and security ( not sure whether this is needed) do I have sufficient time to connect ? If I miss the connection, what will happen to the luggage since it will be tagged all the way to Florence. Thank you for all the help

It's possible if everything goes perfectly. If you miss your flight there's a good chance your baggage will too. If it does make it and you don't it will likely be waiting for you in Florence.

Hi, Flying DFW-FRA with LH into Terminal 1 arriving 0855 and then FRA-LHR with BA departing 1055 out of Terminal 2. Hand baggage only. I'm guessing this will be enough time to make the connection? Thanks in advance.

Yes, that should be enough time. The Skyline train runs both inside and outside the secure transfer area.

We fly LH from FLR to FRA arrriving at 8:10am; depart for DFW on AA at 10:30am. Is this enough time?

Yes, that should be enough time assuming your LH flight is on-time. If you didn't purchase bags on the same reservation you will have to claim your bags from LH take the shuttle bus to T2 and then re-check them with AA and go through security and schengen exit passport control.

Did you mean purchase the LH & AA flights on the same ticket? If LH has the downline flight information will they not check bags through to final destination? Thank you very much for your assistance.

Since LH and AA are not in the same alliance, LH will likely not check bags through to AA unless you purchased the tickets on the same reservation.

Hello I am arriving on LH from LHR at 11.05am connecting onto Singapore Airlines to Singapore at 12:35. Is a passport control / security check required? Arrival and Departure both appear to be in Terminal 1 B gates. Thank you.

No, there should be no passport control since you are not entering the Schengen Area and no security since you are coming from an EU state.

I have a 50 minute layover from Munich through Frankfurt to Chicago O'hare. Both flights are on Lufthansa. Is this enough time?

That should be barely enough time, you will have to hurry.

Yes, Qatar Airways likely has an airside transfer desk.

I am looking at a flight from Zurich - Frankfurt - Houston. My flight arrives at 9:05AM in FRA and leaves at 9:50AM. So 45 minutes. Is that enough time to transfer?

It's possible but you'll really have to hurry.

Flying from Geneva to Helsinki via FRA on Lufthansa on Friday evening, I have only 50 min. to switch, is that enough?

Since everything is within the Schengen pier that should be enough time.

Arriving on American airlines to terminal 2E then transferring to terminal 1B to Qatar airways. The tickets were book together so will I have to go through passport control? Thanks

The SkyLine train connects the two terminals within the secure transit area. You should not have to go through passport control.

I'm flying to FRA from BLR, then FRA to LAX, with 1 hour's time in between. Lufthansa both times. Will my baggage be checked through or will I need to recheck at FRA?

You will not have to do anything with your baggage in Frankfurt, just go through security.

Lufthansa(AC9569) from BUD to FRA, and Air Canada from FRA to YYZ (AC877), both in terminal 1 Do we go through Pasport Exit control then to the gate the connection is tight, what are our chances of making it?

Since you didn't post the arrival and departure times of your flights I can't tell you if you'll have enough time. You have the procedure correct.

AC9569 arrives in FRA at 16:10, AC877 leaves at 17:15, thank you for the help!

That should be barely enough time.

My son, a US citizen, will be departing on Condor from Seattle to Frankfurt where he picks up a connecting flight on Lufthansa to Rome. These two legs of the journey were booked on one itinerary. He has just under 2 hours layover. What kind of security process will he and or his checked bag need to go through in Frankfurt? Will one and three quarters of an hour be sufficient?

He will go through Schengen passport control. That's it. He should have enough time.
