Our inbound flight LH983 from DUB arrives at 08:40. Our outbound flight QR70 departs at 10:45. 2h05 connection time. No luggage. But Separate tickets. Does Qatar (QR) have an airside transfer desk we can use?

I am looking at a flight from Zurich - Frankfurt - Houston. My flight arrives at 9:05AM in FRA and leaves at 9:50AM. So 45 minutes. Is that enough time to transfer?

It's possible but you'll really have to hurry.

Flying from Geneva to Helsinki via FRA on Lufthansa on Friday evening, I have only 50 min. to switch, is that enough?

Since everything is within the Schengen pier that should be enough time.

Arriving on American airlines to terminal 2E then transferring to terminal 1B to Qatar airways. The tickets were book together so will I have to go through passport control? Thanks

The SkyLine train connects the two terminals within the secure transit area. You should not have to go through passport control.

LH from Toulouse arriving 09:10, LH to Houston, departing 10:00 (Thursday). Signed up for the gate-to-gate service. Enough time?

    That should be enough time.

    Many thanks.

Where can I find official information about the Official Minimum Connection time for International to National Flights (Fort Lauderdale to FRA to Venice, Italy). Thanks!

I'm flying to FRA from BLR, then FRA to LAX, with 1 hour's time in between. Lufthansa both times. Will my baggage be checked through or will I need to recheck at FRA?

You will not have to do anything with your baggage in Frankfurt, just go through security.

Lufthansa(AC9569) from BUD to FRA, and Air Canada from FRA to YYZ (AC877), both in terminal 1 Do we go through Pasport Exit control then to the gate the connection is tight, what are our chances of making it?

Since you didn't post the arrival and departure times of your flights I can't tell you if you'll have enough time. You have the procedure correct.

AC9569 arrives in FRA at 16:10, AC877 leaves at 17:15, thank you for the help!

That should be barely enough time.

My son, a US citizen, will be departing on Condor from Seattle to Frankfurt where he picks up a connecting flight on Lufthansa to Rome. These two legs of the journey were booked on one itinerary. He has just under 2 hours layover. What kind of security process will he and or his checked bag need to go through in Frankfurt? Will one and three quarters of an hour be sufficient?

He will go through Schengen passport control. That's it. He should have enough time.

Hi, I'll be flying from Barecelona to FRA, and catch the next flight to Hongkong in just 1hr and 10min. Is that enough time?

forgot to add that both are LH flights

It's possible but doesn't leave much time to spare. You will have to go through schengen exit passport control.

Hey, I'm flying from PRG to ABZ via FRA (both flights with Lufthansa) but only have 45 minutes to change flights. Is this doable?

That will be very difficult. Your gates will be reasonably close to each other but they will both likely be bus gates and you will have to go through Schengen exit passport control in between.

Yet another question about how much time is enough... We'll be flying from San Francisco to Frankfurt, and then have an hour and five minutes to catch a flight to Rome. It's all part of one ticket, on Lufthansa. Is that enough time? Thanks!

It should be barely enough time. Just follow signs to your departure gate. You will go through Schengen passport control on the way.

Hello we are flying from Birmingham to Singapore with a 90min connection.... (All flights with LH) is this sufficient ? Also, do we need to pass through immigration ? Many thanks.

Should be enough time. Since you are not entering the Schengen Area you will not have to go through passport control/immigration.

  • ATL -> FRA -> SPU

Flying from ATL -> FRA on Delta (Air France) -> SPU (Croatia Air). Will we have to go through passport control and security in FRA?

Were your tickets purchased together or separately? Do you have checked bags?

They were purchased together. We are not planning to check bags unless they truely enforce the carry-on baggage weight rules.

Then you should be able to take the SkyLine to your departure area and get your boarding passes from the Croatian Air transfer desk.

I fly from AMS to LHR via FRA. I have only 45min to make my connection. Is this possible?

It's hard. What airline are you on?

    Both flights are with Lufthansa

Yep, difficult, but not impossible. You will have to go through Schengen Exit passport control but that's a quick process.
