I'll be arriving from Singapore to Frankfurt for a plane transfer over to Italy via Lufthansa 779. I will be arriving at terminal 2 and my connecting flight is at terminal 1. I have one hour to make the connection. Do i need to go through passport control/immigrations/customs and collect my checked in luggage and check in again?
I am flying Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong to Frankfurt Terminal 2 and Lufthansa from Frankfurt Terminal 1 to Prague, on two separation reservations. I have 3hr for transfer. Do I need to go through immigration/customs and collect my checked in luggage and check it in again?
Yes, you have to do all that. You should have enough time.
Ticket issued by United. Flight from CPH to FRA is Lufthansa. Flight from FRA to SFO is United. 1 hour connection at FRA. Is this time enough. Do I have to go through additional security screening at FRA. If so, is one hour enough.
Yes, that is enough time. No additional security required, just Schengen Exit Passport Control.
Thank you for the help. Arrival flight is at gate A. Departing flight is gate Z typically. Looks like 1 hr is enough?
Hi, my 18 yr old daughter is traveling from Detroit with a 2 hour transfer time to get a flight to Manchester. Bags will be checked through from Detroit to Manchester. Would you say that this is an easy transfer giving her enoughtime to arrive and depart without a huge worry that she will make it?
Connecting for the first time through FRA. Arriving on Air Canada and connecting through to Oslo on SAS. Is two hours enough time and is there security passport control between connecting international flights? thanks!
Yes, that should be enough time. You will just go through Schengen entry passport control in Frankfurt.
Thanks ZAP. Do you need to collect bags for Schengen entry or are they checked through to the final destination?
We will be arriving at Frankfurt on LH 755 (Terminal 1) and departing to Chicago via LH 430 (Terminal 1). We are on the same ticket and our baggages will be checked. My travel companion would be using wheelchair assistance. Would a 1 hr 50 min layover be sufficient to make the connection? Thanks in advance!
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We are arriving on Lufthansa 695 at Frankfort Terminal 1. We are leaving via LH 422 to Boston at Terminal 1. We are on the same ticket and have checked baggage. Our layoff is approx. 90 minutes. Will we need to go through customs, security and claimed baggage during layoff? Thanks ZAP!!
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. No Customs, passport control, or anything with your baggage.
