I am flying from Philadelphia on American Airlines into Frankfurt. The flight lands at 8:30 am. I am departing FRA to Hanover on Lufthansa at 9:50 am. Is this enough time between flights? Will I have to claim my luggage and then re-check in with Lufthansa? The flights are on separate tickets.
That is not realistically enough time. Yes, you will have to claim your bags and then transfer them between terminals yourself.
Traveling Atl to FRA on Delta. Traveling FRA to Split on Croatia Airlines. Layover is 2.5hrs. What is the transfer procedure in FRA? What is the minimum time I need for the transfer?
You will have to go through Schengen Entry passport control, claim your bags, Take the skyline or shuttle to Terminal 1, re-check your bags with Croatian, and go through security and Schengen Exit passport control.
Hello. I already have boarding passes from Helsinki to Fra (Terminal 2) with Finnair. Do I have to collect my luggage and go to Terminal 1 for Frankfurt- Montego Bay. I have to check in my luggage. I have about 2 hours for this. is it enough time for this? When I have my luggage in Terminal 2- what is the best way to go to Terminal 1?
I think with checked luggage you can still take the Skyline to Terminal 1. 2 Hours is pretty difficult.
Thanks! But i need to check my luggage in at terminal 1. So can i still take a skytrain or you meant security check?
Yes, there is a skyline car that runs outside security.
Hi, I am flying from Washington DC (IAD) to Frankfurt on United UA989 and then on to Vienna (VIE) on Lufthansa with a 1hr 40min connection time. Will this be enough time? Will my luggage automatically transfer? Do I need to change terminals?
Yes, your bags will be transferred automatically and both flights will be in Terminal 1. You should have enough time. You just have to go through passport control in Frankfurt.
