US citizen flying from SFO to ATH via CDG (Paris). Both flights on Air France. Will I have to claim my check in baggage at CDG to go through customs and security? I have 1 hour 25 min for connection (2E to 2F).
You will not have to claim your bags in Paris. Just go through passport control and to your departure gate.
Our flight BRU-FRA-YYZ just had its schedule revised, leaving us with a connecting time of 1:05. Both incoming and departing flights are T1, and as far as I'm aware we don't need to clear security, just Schengen exit controls, is this correct? Will this be enough time, light carry on only and two young guys, no kids etc?
Yes, that is correct. You should have enough time.
I am traveling from India to Berlin on Lufthansa with a one hour layover in Frankfurt. The flight generally arrives at gate C5A and the departing flight is from gate A17. How far are they and will I be able to make it? In case I miss it due to security or confusion in the direction will I be boarded to a new flight?
1 hour is sort of risky. If you miss it you will just be rebooked on thenext flight to Berlin.
Thanks. Still any idea how long ir might take? Or any shortcuts?
Coming into Frankfurt on Oman Air and will be connecting to a United/Lufthansa flight to Dulles. What is the procedure for this connection? Will we have to go through passport control/security/change terminals? Thank you!
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations?
It was booked as 1 ticket
Arriving by lufthansa from mumbai at terminal 1 at 8.00 am and having 2 hours lay over. Connecting flifgt by lufthansa to houston . Is time enough to catch flight
Yes, that is enough time if the flight from Mumbai is on-time.
I am flying Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong to Frankfurt and Lufthansa from Frankfurt to Moscow. I have 1hr 50min for transfer. Do I need to collect my checked in luggage and check it in again to Moscow. I believe I land in Terminal 2 and depart from Terminal 1 to Moscow.
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations?
1 reservation with the same booking reference.
Then all you have to do is take the Skylink from T2 to T1 and go to your departure gate.
Hello I need to catch a connecting flight in Frankfurt. I come from Singapore via SQ and am going to Buenos Aires via LH. Do I need to go thru security and passport control? Can I check in my luggage all the way thru from Singapore to BA? Thanks
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations?
It is one reservation. Thanks!
Then all you have to do in Frankfurt is go through security and to your departure gate. No passport control.
Great! Thanks a lot!
I have 1 hour, 20 minutes in Frankfurt, arriving from Tirana on Lufthansa 1425, departing to Toronto on Air Canada 877 - Is this a risky connection??
That should be enough time. You just have to go through security and to your departure gate.
hi,
i'm landing from PTY to FRA area B (non-shengen) and having a connected flight 8 hours later to SIN from area Z (non-schengen).

No issue regarding the connecting time.

Issue: it looks like there is no direct transit area between the area B and Z, meaning it is mandatory to do twice the passport check. Unfortunately my passport requires a Schengen Visa to enter EU.

In my case, can i go from area B to area Z without passport check, meaning i don't need a Schengen Visa?

Tks
Nic
It appears that there actually is a tunnel connecting the non-schengen areas of A and B to Z.
Yes there is a tunnel, I took it already once but it connects the area A n the initial part of area B which is still in the Schengen area. Actually when u came out from the elevator, you are exactly in front of the passport check, to leave the Schengen and enter the Non-Schengen area. Need to know if there is an other way actually. The tunnel is an almost secret and super useful way to avoid an additional customs screening, and it's super fundamental in case of short connection
We arrive from Bologna, Italy on Lufthansa Tuesday morning at 8 A.M. Our departing flight to Toronto is on Air Canada, leaving at 9:20 A.M. Do we need to change terminals? Can we make this?
Both flights will be in Terminal 1. You just have to go through Schengen exit passport control and to your departure gate. You should have enough time.
