I am flying from Philadelphia on American Airlines into Frankfurt. The flight lands at 8:30 am. I am departing FRA to Hanover on Lufthansa at 9:50 am. Is this enough time between flights? Will I have to claim my luggage and then re-check in with Lufthansa? The flights are on separate tickets.
That is not realistically enough time. Yes, you will have to claim your bags and then transfer them between terminals yourself.
Traveling Atl to FRA on Delta. Traveling FRA to Split on Croatia Airlines. Layover is 2.5hrs. What is the transfer procedure in FRA? What is the minimum time I need for the transfer?
You will have to go through Schengen Entry passport control, claim your bags, Take the skyline or shuttle to Terminal 1, re-check your bags with Croatian, and go through security and Schengen Exit passport control.
Hello. I already have boarding passes from Helsinki to Fra (Terminal 2) with Finnair. Do I have to collect my luggage and go to Terminal 1 for Frankfurt- Montego Bay. I have to check in my luggage. I have about 2 hours for this. is it enough time for this? When I have my luggage in Terminal 2- what is the best way to go to Terminal 1?
I think with checked luggage you can still take the Skyline to Terminal 1. 2 Hours is pretty difficult.
Thanks! But i need to check my luggage in at terminal 1. So can i still take a skytrain or you meant security check?
Yes, there is a skyline car that runs outside security.
Arrive on Lufthansia from Houston to Frankfurt at 8:40. Flight to Nuremberg at 10:00. Will I have enough time?
Yes, that should be enough time. You just have to go through passport control and to your departure gate.
Coming into FRA on a UA flight from EWR transfer to LH flight to Aberdeen. The reverse on the return.
Am I correct that 2 hours will be plenty of time?
yes, that should be plenty of time.
And since US to UK with transfer in FRA, US passport,II will just have passport control in both directions?
Actually you won't have passport control, since you aren't entering the Schengen Area. Just walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The Aberdeen flight will probably be a bus gate.
Hi, I am flying from Washington DC (IAD) to Frankfurt on United UA989 and then on to Vienna (VIE) on Lufthansa with a 1hr 40min connection time. Will this be enough time? Will my luggage automatically transfer? Do I need to change terminals?
Yes, your bags will be transferred automatically and both flights will be in Terminal 1. You should have enough time. You just have to go through passport control in Frankfurt.
Thank you!
Flying from Madras India to Motreal Canada.
MAA to FRA - booked by AIr Canada operated by Lufthansa - Terminal 1
FRA to YUL - Air Canada - Terminal 1

Layover time 2hour 35Min. Is this sufficient time? Do I have check in my baggage again at FRA?

Thanks in advance.
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go through security and to your departure gate. Nothing with your bags.
Thank you very much for clarifying this ZAP.
My flight is from New Delhi to Toronto via frankfurt. (Both flights lufthansa). Do I need to check in my luggage again?? I have a layover time of 2 hours...
No, you don't have to do anything with your bags in Frankfurt. Just go through security and to your departure gate.
Hi, thanks for all the amazing advice BTW. connecting in we collect bags?....we are in and out of terminal 1 with a 60min connection....sound achievable? just go thru passport control?
No, you won't have to collect your bags, just go through passport control, assuming both flights are on Lufthansa.
I am flying from Paris to Calgary Canada through Frankfurt with a 1 hour and 10 minute transfer time. Is that enough and what do I need to do? Will my luggage be transferred for me as well?
If both flights are on the same reservation on Lufthansa/Air Canada you just have to go through Schengen exit passport control and to your departure gate. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
