Flying DAL-FRA-VCE on Lufthansa. 2 hours between the connection, no checked bags. Will we go through Schengen passport control? Is there enough time to go to the Lufthansa welcome lounge near baggage claim, or would we be better off using the departure area lounge?
Assuming you mean Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW), you will go through Schengen entry passport control in Frankfurt. I don't think you'd have enough time to go to the welcome lounge.
Hi, we're travelling Mumbai (India) to Toronto via frankfurt with layover of 1 hr & 20 min. Need to know the usual arrival gate of LH757 and departure gate for LH6676, time taken to transit between these 2 gates. And, do i need to undergo immigration & security check. If yes, how much additional travel time will it take. Thanks
You will just go through security and to your departure gate. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We will be arriving into FRA from Johannesburg (business class) and 5 hours later, departing for Edinburgh (economy class). This is on the same booking. I believe we will have access to the Welcome Lounge but are we able to use it given we are in transit? I believe that the lounge is in the public area. Thank you.
Will be arriving from Vancouver and transit to Johannesburg on Lufthansa flight operated by South African Airways. Are these type of flights arriving and leaving from one terminal. Or do I have to go through security ad passport control,
Both flights will be in Terminal 1. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Arriving from San Francisco with a one hour connection to Naples, Italy, due to a change to my flight by Lufthansa. I've transited through Frankfurt before... it's such a huge airport and I'm worried that this won't be enough time to make my connecting flight, especially if I have to be bused in from my San Francisco flight to the terminal. What do you think?
It's possible. It's not foolproof, but it's definitely possible.
I (+1 other passenger) am flying from Ukraine to Los Angeles with a layover in Frankfurt. If I check my luggage in Ukraine, will I have to collect my checked bag and go through security in Frankfurt? Have a 90 minute layover. Thank you!
If both flights are on Lufthansa you don't have to do anything with your bags in Frankfurt - just go through security and to your departure gate.
