    Fresno Yosemite International FAT Airport is located six miles from the city of Fresno situated in Central California, and is close to Highway 99 (northbound take Fwy 180 exit; southbound take the Fwy 41 exit north and at the interchange take 180 east). The Airport is also the closest airport to the town of Yosemite, which is over 100 miles from the south entrance of the famed Yosemite National Park. The Airport serves California’s Central San Joaquin Valley. The walls of the Airport’s compact and recently renovated terminal are wrapped in scenic photos of Yosemite and the surrounding San Joaquin Valley.

    Presently, the Airport is served by eight domestic and one Mexican Airline, offering direct and connecting flights around the world. The passenger terminal is open 3am-1:30am, or last flight arrival daily, while the Security Screening Checkpoint is open 4am until last flight departure, at appr. 12:30am. The Airport offers an Information Desk (559-454-2052), restaurants, bars, shops, and a barber shop. If you need to pick up an arriving passenger, use the cell phone lot located east of the terminal on the north side of the enry road. You have up to one free hour; stay with your car and wait until your party has called you to be picked up at the curb. Other parking options are the short- and long-term lots. To get from the Airport to your destination, you can hire a rental car, take a taxi, or a limo (Quest Limo serves Tulare & Visalia), or the following bus lines: the Fresno Area Express, Coalinga Transit or VIA, a Yosemite connection service.
