FAT Airport is six miles outside of the city of Fresno, and is close to Highway 99 (northbound take Fwy 180 exit; southbound take the Fwy 41 exit north & at interchange 180 east).
With an estimated 1.3 million passengers annually, Fresno Yosemite Airport is served by a growing number of airlines offering direct flights to U.S. hubs in the West & South of the country, with connections around the world.

The passenger terminal at Fresno Yosemite International Airport has been undergoing expansion and renovation work - involving the baggage claim and lobby areas, the security checkpoint, and the ticket counters. It now features a consolidated rental car facility, modernized ticket counters, baggage claim, expanded lobby & security checkpoint areas, new mother's room, and walls wrapped in scenic photos of Yosemite and the surrounding San Joaquin Valley.
Of interest is the 'Sequoiascape' located in the central terminal lobby, featuring the three nearby national parks.
Security screening checkpoint is open 4am-12:30am, or last departing flight. Past security checkpoint are boarding gates 1 - 17.
