The new passenger terminal at Friedrichshafen Bodensee Airport opened officially in September 2010 with 14 check-in counters and triple the space of the old terminal. Passenger arrivals and departures are both on the street level - Arrival is to your right, departures to the left. After security you have access to gate areas A-D and E-G. The new 300 square meter shopping center is to open late 2011, but has already opened the duty-free area.
The Information Desk is in the Arrivals area, open 7:30am-10:30pm (tel: +49(0) 7541-284-01), and provides the following services: Train, bus, catamaran & ferry schedules; hotel & tourist information; currency exchange (US dollar, British pound, Swiss franc, Icelandic & Swedish kroners); catamaran tickets to Konstanz, and lost & found.
Other services and amenities include food & drink establishments, shops, conference rooms, observation deck, smoking room, LAN Internet access ATM cash machines.
