Picking Up/Dropping Off Travelers
Ask your airline if it has curbside check-in. Otherwise, you must check in at the airline ticket counter.

General Parking Information
General Mitchell International Airport has a Parking Garage and Surface Lot within walking distance of the terminal, and two Remote Lots with free shuttle service to the terminal. The parking garage is connected to the terminal by skywalks.

The Parking Garage is divided into Daily and Hourly sections. Vehicles taller than 7' 0" cannot be parked in the Parking Garage - they should be parked in either the Surface or Remote Lots. Vehicles taller than 6' 2" cannot park in aisles A or B in the Parking Garage.

Daily Parkers
Daily Parking exists on all floors of the garage. ADA Parking spaces are on floors 1, 3, and 5.

Hourly Parkers
Hourly parking is on the 3rd & 4th floors (RED area). ADA parking is available in Aisles A & C on the 3rd floor.

Van Accessible Parking
Currently, Van Accessible vehicles higher than 7 feet can park in the Surface Lot south of the Parking Garage. Van Accessible vehicles are also able to park on the 1st floor of the Parking Garage.

Parking Garage Handicapped spaces
Located in both the Hourly and Daily sections of the parking garage. Please follow overhead signage. The third floor of the parking garage has a skywalk with a moving walkway that connects to the terminal. This area is enclosed, heated and air-conditioned. The moving walkway will transport you from the far reaches of the parking garage to the center skywalk and then into the terminal. Elevators provide access from all levels of the parking garage to the enclosed moving walkway.

The Surface Lot is located immediately south of the parking structure and is also within walking distance of the terminal. Surface Lot Handicapped spaces are located to the right in the first aisle upon entering.

Remote Lots A or B are located on Air Cargo Way. Air Cargo Way can be accessed from I-94 or from Howell Avenue. (See map below). Free shuttle service is provided every 10-15 minutes, 24 hours a day. During non-peak times, only one of these two lots may be open.

International travelers depart from the Main Terminal. Passengers who are making International departures should use the parking garage, surface or remote lots. Ten (10) parking spaces are available west of the International Terminal for arriving passenger pickups only.
