Baggage TransferApr 11, 201310Hi. Im travelling on United from Atlanta to Houston & then connecting to Dubai on Emirates. How can I tranfer my baggage between the terminals? Are we allowed to take the luggage trollery in the Terminal link?DXBiteposted on Thu, Apr 11[ Reply ][ Like ]No, you cannot take a luggage trolley on TerminaLink. However, if you have to claim your baggage then re-check it with Emirates in D (and you don't arrive in Terminal C or E on United), then you can take your baggage on the Inter-Terminal Train which runs outside security. Also, if you arrive in Terminal C on united then you won't have to take your bags on any train and can just walk to Emirates in D.ZAPposted on Thu, Apr 11

picking up international travelerMar 16, 201300We are picking up some Italian friends who will be arriving on Lufthansa this afternoon from Frankfort. They are coming into terminal D but I think we pick them up at Terminal E International Arrivals. (They will have checked luggage.) Is that correct?amyemiliaposted on Sat, Mar 16

bus from SAN ANTONIO TO IAHMar 11, 201310My daughter is flying out of IAH but needs to get from SAN ANTONIO to IAH. She is inexperienced with multiple changes. Is there ground transportation from San Antonio directly to airport? What is the easiest, safest and least expensive way to get between the two?cach13posted on Mon, Mar 11IAH and San Antonio are over 200 miles apart and I don't think there's any direct transportation between San Antonio and IAH airport. Have you considered just buying a ticket on United to fly from IAH to SAT? Advance purchase tickets are only about $80-$100 one way which isn't much more than you'd spend on a bus.ZAPposted on Mon, Mar 11

Help for WaySep 30, 201210I will visist Huntsvile,TX.from China. When I land IAH, How could I reach Huntsvile? Isn't It possible for me to take Greyhound? ThanksC Zposted on Sun, Sep 30The Greyhound station in Houston, Texas, is located at 2121 Main Street (tel. 713-759-6550), right off Interstate Highway 45, which takes you about 60 miles north to the Huntsville station at 1000 12th Street. To get to the Greyhound station from the Airport, you can take the Metro bus at the south side of Terminal C. Metro Bus 102 picks up on the south side of Terminal C street level (baggage claim) and stops at the downtown Metro station. It is best to stop by the Information desk after picking up your bags to ask if this bus stops at the Greyhound terminal, or which other transportation can get you there. Huntsville is a very small town (there is also a big city by the same name in the state of Alabama).susep12posted on Sun, Sep 30

Terminal E to Terminal ANov 18, 201110I am arriving in IAH terminal A and leaving to Kileen at Terminal E. I have 1.5hrs of transit. - is 1.5 hrs sufficient for claiming baggage and checking in for my flight to killeen at Terminal EYOYOposted on Fri, Nov 18Looks to me you got Terminals reversed. International arrivals are processed in Terminal E: Arriving passengers go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby and the Exits. This area also has an escalator down to underground train, connecting to Terminal A; you need 30-40 mins for customs clearance & re-check-in of bags, and another 10-15 mins to get to TA. At TA you need to go through security & on to your gates (TA has gates A1-15 & A17-30).HH39posted on Fri, Nov 18
