Flying from RTB on United to IAH, then need to switch to Air Canada to fly to Calgary. Will 3 and a half hours be long enough to do this? Do I need to go through security/customs before getting on Air Canada?
Yes, that should be enough time. Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, customs, and security.
Am flying in from Japan on China Air need a flight out to JAX or Orlando arriving about 4pm how long of a layover should I need between flights?
Are you flying Air China? China Airlines doesn't fly to Houston. Are you flying nonstop from Tokyo? If so your flight is operated by United or ANA. If it's two separate reservations I'd want at least 3 hours between flights.
making a connection in houston coming from panama city panama. united arrival to united/mesa. we have 1 hour 30 minute connection. travelling with children so concerned with amount of time to clear customs
That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
will be traveling with 2 reservations, San Pedro Sula (international) to Houston arrives at 3:54 PM and have another flight from Houston to Phoenix leaves at 6:16 PM, around 2 hours to spare, will I be available to go check in again and still catch my flight ? ( Have check in bags)
That is only possible if everything goes perfectly.
Canadians flying home from Puebla, Mexico on United with 3 hour layover in Houston carrying on to Canada, via Air Canada. Would we have time for a 1 hour visit with Texan cousins and still clear customs, security, and move from terminal E to A?
An hour might be pushing it. I don't think you'd have more than 15-30 minutes to spare.
Hello, I have a flight from San Salvador to Montreal connecting through Houston IAH. The layover is only 1h 50min. Can I use the One Stop process? If so, what are the procedures? I am scared that the time won't be enough to complete the regular process. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!
Yes, you can use Onestop. You will go to the Onestop counter, show your passport (and visa if you need one to transit the US), you will be processed into the country and then you will go through security and to your departure gate.
Thank you so much for your help! I hope everything will be fine. Regards.
