my sister has a 3 hr layover in iah on way to Costa Rica. is there some way to visit with her at the airport
I booked an international flight from IAH to Beijing on Air China. I then purchased a ticket from my town to IAH. Do I need to claim my luggage and then check in to Air China?
will be traveling with 2 reservations, San Pedro Sula (international) to Houston arrives at 3:54 PM and have another flight from Houston to Phoenix leaves at 6:16 PM, around 2 hours to spare, will I be available to go check in again and still catch my flight ? ( Have check in bags)
That is only possible if everything goes perfectly.
Canadians flying home from Puebla, Mexico on United with 3 hour layover in Houston carrying on to Canada, via Air Canada. Would we have time for a 1 hour visit with Texan cousins and still clear customs, security, and move from terminal E to A?
An hour might be pushing it. I don't think you'd have more than 15-30 minutes to spare.
Hello, I have a flight from San Salvador to Montreal connecting through Houston IAH. The layover is only 1h 50min. Can I use the One Stop process? If so, what are the procedures? I am scared that the time won't be enough to complete the regular process. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!
Yes, you can use Onestop. You will go to the Onestop counter, show your passport (and visa if you need one to transit the US), you will be processed into the country and then you will go through security and to your departure gate.
Thank you so much for your help! I hope everything will be fine. Regards.
travelling from Austin to Houston to Manchester (1HR30MINS layover) to SG. do you think it will be enough time? do i have to recheck luggage? or need a visa? filipino citizen w USA tourist visa.
Are all flights on the same reservation?
I have two separate itineraries (Itinerary1 is domestic and Itinerary2 is international) and I'm concerned about whether I will be able to make my "connecting" flight. I am not checking any luggage.

Itinerary 1: SJD to IAH arriving @ 3:36PM.
Itinerary 2: IAH to MSY leaving @ 5:07PM

Will I have to leave security when I arrive at IAH or can I just go directly to my next gate for my flight to MSY? Is 1.5 hours enough time?

Thanks so much!
Oops I meant to say Itinerary 1 is international and Itinerary 2 is domestic!
You're going to have to be more specific about what airlines you're flying. Once you go through US Immigration and Customs in Houston you will be outside security. That is a very difficult connection.
I'm flying United for both flights, no checked baggage. Does that help my chances of making my second flight at all? I did see that United offers the exact same flight combination as a single itinerary from SJD to MSY (with the 1.5 hour layover at IAH), was hoping that was indicative that the connection would be doable :(
Then you have a chance with no checked luggage. Check in online for your flight to New Orleans before leaving Cabo.
I will be arriving from Canada in Terminal C at 10:30 PM and my connecting flight leaves next morning at 9:00 am from Terminal C as well Will I be able to stay inside this terminal during the night It is nit worth it to get a hotel for six hours I never check any bags so no need to get my baggage either please advise
You may have to leave the gate area at about midnight-1AM and not be allowed back in until around 3:30-4 AM.
My flight from Narita (Japan) arrives at 14:25 to Terminal E, I want to visit the Space center, which is an hour drive away, it closes at 17:00. Can I make it? Do I need to claim my luggage? How fast can I go out of the airport? (I have a non-citizen tourist visa)
Realistically, no, that's not enough time.
I am flying from SJO, w. United to YYZ (Toronto), w. Air Canada:
is 1 H 25 MIN in IAH enough? Thank you, Nick.
That will be difficult. You will have to go through US Immigration, Customs, security and then take the Skyway train to your departure terminal.
