Traveling from Houston to Guayaquil, Ecuador with a layover in Bogato, Columbia. Do we go through Customs in Columbia or when we arrive in Ecuador?
What airlines are you flying? Are both flights on the same reservation?
Flying United to Bogota. Not worried about return flight - don't get out of Ecuador until we land back in Houston
What airline are you flying from Botota to Guayaquil? If everything is on the same reservation you do not have to go through Colombian immigration in Bogota.
Where is the GOES office in TerminalE?

What will the customs/security experience be like? How much of a layove is necessary to ensure I catch my last connection
On your way to Cancun you don't have to go through Customs or security in Houston (if you are connecting from another place in the US), an hour is fine. On the way back I'd want 2 hours.
What is average wait time to get through security domestic flight on Sunday morning 7am-9am C gates
I am wondering if I can go thru security with just my ID if I am not getting on a flight? I am just going to surprise someone at their terminal when they exit their plane and I'm wondering if I can get thru security to do so.
No, you can't.
Hi, Flying into Houston Terminal B from Memphis with a 43 min connection time (assuming no delays) and flying out to Las Vegas from Terminal C.
I don't have to collect baggage but is this enough time and do I have to go thro' security.
The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security. That is enough time. Obviously it doesn't leave much time to spare if your first flight is delayed.
Thanks ZAP...was a bit concerned as never been thro' Houston before

Cheers
Help! United 1490 to IAH has been delayed 26 minutes (now landing at 1734), leaving me 1 hour 40 minutes to get through customs/immigration in Houston and make it to UA 1027 (scheduled depart 1920). I have several checked bags. TSA prechecked, if that makes a difference, and both flights are on the same reservation. Can this be done?? Thank you!
That should still be enough time. If your flight gets delayed more United has almost hourly flights from Houston to Chicago.
now not landing in houston until 1759.. looking less and less likely that this is going to work. ugh!
There's an 11:55 pm IAH-ORD flight that looks to have plenty of empty seats, so you'll get to Chicago tonight, just really late.
If Im flying domestic airlines from jfk to houston. Do I need to go thru immigration?
If you are just flying from JFK to Houston no, you do not go through Immigration, New York and Texas are both part of the United States.
I am flying in on a Saturday from Jamaica and have a 93 min layover. Is this long enough to make it thru customs before I depart for Los Angeles
Yes, that should be enough time. You will arrive in Terminal E, go through US Immigration, collect your baggage, go through US Customs, re-check your bags, and go through security and then to your departure gate, which will likely be in Terminal C, which is directly connected to E.
Hi! I will arrive in IAH on 22nd around 4pm. I am intending to catch a flight to DFW at 7pm with another airline. I booked these 2 flights seperate and there is no codeshare agreement or whatsover involved. Therefore when I check in for my flight to IAH, I will not be issued my boarding passes for my IAH-DFW, neither will my checked in luggage be labeled for DFW. Now my Question is, since I only have 3 hours between the 2 flights, is there any chance I can make it in time to my next departure gate? Do I have to go through security?
You should be able to check in online for your IAH-DFW flight or using your mobile device. If you do that you will just have to move your luggage. The Inter-Terminal Train connects all terminals outside security. If you tell us what airlines you are flying we can provide more specific information.
Thank you! I am gonna arrive at 4:26pm with EK0211, go through security, get my bags and then I will instead fly the next morning at 6am to DFW with AA3712. After Security and getting my baggage can I then buy access to United Lounge in Terminal E instead? I could stay there till 11pm and then perhaps sleep somewhere on the airport chairs till 4am qnd then check in for my DFW flight. Is that ok? Or is it impossible to enter terminal e lounge before checking in again? Sorry so much confusion here :(
To re-enter security you need to have a valid boarding pass for that day. So no, you won't be able to go back through security until 4 AM the next morning. I suggest getting a cheap hotel.
