from tampaMay 17, 201340We will be arriving from Tampa on 5-18 on flight 1722 and will be leaving for El Paso on flight 4263 what terminals will these be at?kammiposted on Thu, May 16[ Reply ][ Like ]For the above they are United main for arriving flight and Express for El Paso flight. What terminals?kammiposted on Thu, May 16Your flight from Tampa will arrive in C or E and your flight to El Paso will depart from Terminal B. You can take the TerminaLink train between the terminals.ZAPposted on Fri, May 17There are 2 Tampa flights: at 1:06 & 3:37pm both at Terminal C (no C gate number given); there are also 2 El Paso flights: at 3:15, Terminal B gate 81A, and at 1:36pm at gate T-B 84E - meaning you arrive at Terminal C and will connect to Terminal B via the inter-terminal underground train OUTSIDE of security - on arrival at TB you need to go through security check before proceeding to your connecting B gate.frmay13posted on Fri, May 17

37 minutes enough??May 16, 201340So my flight itinerary is SFO-IAH-OMA. The layover in IAH is only 37 minutes. I have conflicting terminal locations for the arrival into IAH (it is either C or E) and I believe I depart from terminal B. How long does it take to get from Terminal C to Terminal B? How long does it take to get from Terminal E to Terminal B? Will I be able to make both situation?shellypposted on Thu, May 16United mainline flights into IAH can arrive into C or E, so you won't know until the day of your flight. C or E to B can take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes on the TerminaLink train, depending on where in C/E your arriving gate is and how close it is to the TerminaLink station.ZAPposted on Thu, May 16I need to make my way from E4 to B85 in 37 minutes at IAH. is that enough time to make it?shellypposted on Thu, May 16If your first flight is on-time it's possible, but hurry.ZAPposted on Thu, May 16

Connecting in 35 minutes, 2 kids/carseatMay 15, 201320We will arrive at IAH from BHM on United. Our flight to CLL leaves 35 minutes later. Do we have a chance? We have good running shoes.TexanBlueposted on Wed, May 15Yes, you have a chance but it will be tough unless your first flight is quite early. You will likely have to take the TerminaLink train from B to A-north.ZAPposted on Wed, May 15

Time to ConnectMay 10, 201320I'm arriving at IAH on United Flight UA807 on 5/15 at 1:40 PM and have 1 hour to connect with UA Flight 5227 at 2:45 PM. I'm a senior and handicapped. Will I have enough time to make the transfer? Are both of these flights in the same terminal?vicg636posted on Fri, May 10Flight 807 will arrive into Terminal C or E and 5227 will likely depart from Terminal B. You will have to take the TerminaLink train between the gates. I suggest you request wheelchair service from United (which you can do by calling them). If your first flight is on time you will have enough time for your connection.ZAPposted on Fri, May 10

How much time do I need to connect?May 10, 201310I will be flying on United from Neward to LAX with a 1:22 connection time at IAH. I will have checked baggage. Is that enough time for them to transfer my luggage from one plane to the other? I'm not worried about myself because I know I won't have any problems in that time to walk from arrival gate to departure gate, but I am worried about my luggage. I don't know how much time it takes for them to transfer my luggage. Does anyone know if my bags will be able to make it to LAX at the same times as I do??I3vbposted on Fri, May 10

connection time and location...help!May 10, 201320Hi, On monday May 13, 2013 I am arriving on flight 5249 to terminal B at 11:01am and my connecting flight is flight 1016 in terminal E at 11:46am (going to Cancun)...question is, will 45 minutes be enough time to make the connecting flight and can someone please navigate me where I need to go after I get off the plane to find our final destination flight?? Any other tips would be appreciative! Thanks! Very nervous! TerriTADposted on Fri, May 10You will have to take the terminalink train from the concourse B station the D/E station. You'll have to hurry but if your first flight is on-time you'll be OK. Also, United will have later flights if you miss your connection and Monday is typically a light travel day TO Cancun so it should be no problem being rebooked if you miss your connection.ZAPposted on Fri, May 10Thanks for the response...I have never missed a flight before (dont fly that often) but if we do miss the flight whether it be delay or because there wasnt enough time to get to the next connection, will the airline put us on another flight free of charge or will we have to pay?TADposted on Fri, May 10

meeting passenger during connectionsMay 6, 201311I'm hoping to meet a friend flying in on United Express from Mexico City Tuesday, May 7 and departing after 4h lay over to Canada. Looks to me as if the Mexico City usually lands at Terminal D and I know most CDN flights leave out of Term C. Can you suggest a good meeting place? D or C? Thxcoffeemateposted on Sun, May 5

Into IAH from TampaMay 5, 201310We will be on a United Express Silver flight from Tampa , and we will be flying to El Paso Tx. on a United Express Jet. What terminal will we fly into from Tampa and what one will we fly out of to go to El paso?kamiposted on Sun, May 5Silver Airways doesn't fly to IAH for United Express. The Tampa-IAH flights on United are all mainline and operate into terminals C and E. If you're on United Express out of IAH to ELP, it could leave from Terminal A, B, or C - they are all connected by the TerminaLink train.ZAPposted on Sun, May 5

meeting non-flyer during connectionApr 29, 201340I am flying into Houston from Newark and making a connection to Puerto Vallarta 1 hour and 15 minutes later. I am supposed to meet with a Houston resident during this interval to deliver a pet. Is this at all doable?retr2327posted on Mon, Apr 29No, I would advise not doing that - you likely will not have enough time. Perhaps if you can take an earlier flight from Newark you would have enough time.ZAPposted on Mon, Apr 29A follow-up question. It looks like I'll be arriving in, and departing from, Terminal E. How hard is it to go out of security, meet, and come back in through security? Since I'm arriving on a domestic flight, customs and immigration should not be a factor, right? The layout is not clear. Thanks!retr2327posted on Mon, Apr 29It depends where in C or E your Chicago flight comes in to. It's not "hard", there just might be quite a bit of walking involved.ZAPposted on Mon, Apr 29

Enough time for Intl Connection??Apr 24, 201320We will be traveling from Istanbul, Turkey to Dallas, TX on May 7, 2013 (Friday) with connection in IAH. I am an American citizen but my wife is not (greencard). Our US born daughter (16 months old) will also be traveling with us. Will 1 hour and 45 minutes between flights be enough to clear customs and get from Terminal D to Terminal A to make our connecting flight to Dallas? Also, Orbitz states that the flight from Istanbul will also land in Terminal A, is it possible since Terminal A is not international? Thank you very much in advance!Alex Zposted on Wed, Apr 24Orbitz is wrong. Turkish Airlines flights at IAH arrive in Terminal D. What airline is your Dallas flight on? If it's on United mainline it will leave from C, if it's on United Express it could leave from A-North, B, or C. If it's on American it will be from A-south. It will be a very tight connection but luckily if you miss it there are many other flights from IAH to Dallas that you could be rebooked on.ZAPposted on Wed, Apr 24
