Domestic to international unitedJul 2, 201210i am traveling from Baltimore to Houston then to Costa Rica all on United Airlines: is this an easy transition? Also what terminal is United?MMKposted on Mon, Jul 2[ Reply ][ Like ]At IAH, United uses Terminals A, B, C & E, with corresponding gates: A gates A1-30, B gates B60-88, C gates C14-45 and E gates E1-24. Your ticket should indicate your arriving /departing terminals and gates. Note that the TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security - no need to go through security check. If arriving at gates C29-45 and transferring to Terminal E: walk towards gates C14-24, then proceed straight on to Terminal E.mojul12posted on Mon, Jul 2

Fastest way to get from terminal C to BJun 30, 201210What is the quickest way to get from Terminal C to B? I have a very short connection time, please help, thanks!rjnpaulaposted on Fri, Jun 29At IAH, the above-ground TerminaLink train, starts its service at the Terminal A station & connects terminals A, B, C, D/E inside security; therefore, on its way back you will catch it at T-C. No need to go through security. Terminal B has to the right the gateway to gates B76 to B83. Adjacent to this gateway is the entrance to the TerminaLink train station and after that is the gateway to Gates B84-88.sajun12posted on Sat, Jun 30

CONECTING FLIGHTS FROM TERMINAL C TO EJun 25, 201210I will be travelling by United Airlines from San Francisco to Houston (terminal C) and will board United Airlines again in one hour (another flight on terminal E) from Houston to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Do I need to checkout my luggage at Houston and re-check in? Is this interval feasible? Also what is the best way to reach terminal E from terminal C? Thanks in advance !MAURO ANGELposted on Mon, Jun 25Only international arrivals need to go through customs clearance, etc. On arrival at Terminal C look at overhead screens to find your flight number, gate & departure time; then take the above-ground TerminaLink train to your connecting terminal, where it arrives inside security - no need to go through security check. You have enough time.mojun12posted on Mon, Jun 25

LayoverJun 24, 201220We are arriving at Terminal A and Departing from Terminal C. Have a couple hour layover. Is there anywhere to meet a friend who lives in Houston, at the airport for coffee or something between flights?sabzweigposted on Sat, Jun 23The departure level of each terminal has a food court. If meeting at TA, you need to the to the departure level and thereaftr use the below-ground Inter-Terminal Train which connects all terminals and hotels outside of security. At TC you need to go through security check again.sajun12posted on Sat, Jun 23At IAH, in Terminal A is a 'Stadium City Bar & Grill' in the ticketing lobby, as well as "north & south food courts" (not sure if they are in the non-secured area). You can only meet in the unsecured areas (prior to security check). Other than listed food courts (not sure if in secured area) in Terminal C - all food & drink establishments are inside security. What you can do: Meet up in front of the information desk on the Arrivals level of Terminal A. As you will then be in the unsecured area, you need to go through security check at TA again and take the above-ground TerminaLink train to Terminal C, and from there to your connecting gate.sujun12posted on Sun, Jun 24

connection timeJun 11, 201210I am flying into Terminal E from Canada and have 45 Mins to get to Terminal C to catch a flight to San Antonio, Do I have enough time?macposted on Sun, Jun 10Your 45-min transfer time is only feasible if you had already passed US customs inspection in Canada. If not, you would need to go through passport check, pick up your bag, go through customs clearance and then re-check-in your bag (could take up to 40 mins), then take the below-ground inter-terminal train to TC, go through security check and on to your gate. If having passed US customs inspection in Canada, proceed on arrival to the above-ground TerminaLink train, which connects all terminals inside security.mojun12posted on Mon, Jun 11

Atlanta to Dubai Via Houston, TXJun 10, 201210I will be travelling by Delta from Atlanta to Houston and will board Emarites international flight from Houston. Do I need to checkout my luggage at Houston and re-check in? Also what is the best way to reach terminal D from terminal A? Thanks in advancePrasyposted on Sun, Jun 101. Your first priority is to find out if Delta will transfer your bags to your Emirates flight (not all airlines transfer, in which case you would have to, on arrival at IAH, pick up your bag at baggage claim, take the below-ground inter-terminal train to Terminal D, go up & check in your bag with Emirates, go through security check and on to your gates. 2. If no baggage re-check is necessary, take on arrival at IAH the above-ground TerminaLink Train connecting all terminals inside security.sujun12posted on Sun, Jun 10

how to go from terminal E to TERMINAL BMay 29, 201210On arrival at International Terminal E, you need to go first through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby and take the escalator down to the inter-terminal train to Terminals A, B & C, where you need to go through security check before proceeding to your connecting gate. (Check overhead screens on arrival at IAH for your connecting flight's gate number & departure time. Transfer time, including customs clearance - at least one hour.tuapr12posted on Tue, May 29

How to go from Terminal D to Terminal CJun 2, 201220How to go from Terminal D(international flight) to connecting domestic flight inTerminal C? Is it possible to just walk over inside the security or should we take terminal interlink train? in either case do we need to go through security again?transit Qposted on Mon, May 28The International Arrivals building (part of TE)at IAH can be accessed from both TE and TD, with separate US Customs. Arriving passengers go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby, which has an escalator down to the below-ground inter-terminal train to Terminal C. There you need to go through security again. Note that C gates are divided into east gates C14-24 & west gates C29-45. The overhead screens on arrival at IAH will indicate your gate and departure time.moapr12posted on Mon, May 28My question is do i need to take train after customs and re--checkin to go to TC from terminal TD or is it possible for me to walk over from TD to TC? My wife is travelling with 2 small kids so it is easier for her to walk over than take train. hence the question. Now if she has to take train which one because i believe there are 2 the inter link one or inter-terminal one which is accessible from international arrivals lobby?aaposted on Sat, Jun 2

connection/security questionMay 24, 201210If arriving at Terminal B north terminal gate - can you get to Terminal A south terminal gate staying inside security because it looks like the terminal link runs on the north side of the all the terminals?lauracarr5posted on Thu, May 24At IAH, the above-ground TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security. Terminal A has gates A1-15 & A17-30; Terminal B has four gateways on each corner of square leading to gates B60-66, B68-75, 76-83 & 84-88. Your ticket & the overhead screens on arrival will indicate your connecting A gate number. Just follow signs.thapr12posted on Thu, May 24
