I have 1 hour 15 minutes to change flights within terminal E. Flight is to Panama so pure transit. I will be travelling on a ESTA waiver visa from UK. is that enough time in this case. I have no idea how large is terminal E. Time is between 18:20 and 17:40
That is not realistically enough time as you still have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security.
Hi, US passport coming into IAH from Cancun at 8:15am on 11/13, Terminal E, Gate 14. I have a connecting flight with United Airlines at 9:45am to Seattle, terminal C, Gate 36. Is 1 hour 45 minutes enough time to get through customs and onto my flight to Seattle? Or is that too short of time?
Shoot, I guess I mean 1.5 hours. I'm already losing my mind, my apologies.
That should be just enough time if everything goes perfectly. With the mid-morning arrival immigration and customs shouldn't be too crowded.
My flight is from Calgary to chihuahua I have 59 minutes connection time will I make it or can get help to make it
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. All you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security if you need to change terminals.
Thank you for your help yes I am going from terminal C to terminal to terminal B
This is my first time taking the connecting flight at IAH. I really need the step by step instructions once I arrived including what should I do and go after and the whole process through the airport. I'll be arriving at 13:20 from YVR and departure at 16:30 to CANCUN. I believed I will be arrive at Terminal C and departure at Terminal E, all United Airlines. Sorry is my first time after the US custom policy has changed and I am so confused now. If someone can lead me through this that would be great since I don't have much experience with traveling to State and taking connecting flight.
US Customs policy has not changed in about 10 years. You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in Houston on your way to Cancun is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You can walk from C to E inside security. You have TONS of time.
Arriving at IAH Dec. 27 at 7 PM on United from Costa Rica (US Passport). Since connecting flights to EUG start at 6 AM on Dec 28, have reservation at Airport Marriott for the night. How long will port of entry process likely take? Assume checked bag will have to be picked up and re-checked in immigration, so I'll use carryon for overnight. How much time should I allow to get from hotel, back through security, etc, to resume travel on domestic flights in the morning?
You should be out of customs by 7:45 or so. Since you have an overnight connection you won't be able to re-check your bag and will have to to take it to the hotel with you. I would arrive back at the airport at 4:30 AM.
