I have the same questions. I have a 1 hor turnarond and need to get from Terminal B to Terminal E. Is that enough with a panic?

You need to contact your airline to reserve a wheelchair; or alert the flight attendant onboard your plane for your need. Arriving at Terminal C, you need to get to Terminal B which has at the end of its gateway a square with gates on each corner: gates 60-66, 68-75, 7683 & 84-88. The above-ground TerminaLink train connects these terminals inside security. Your time should be sufficient.

I'm arriving into Houston at 5:07pm in terminal A and connecting to terminal e at 5:55pm going to Nicaragua. Is there enough time to make this international flight? I have 48 minutes and it doesn't seem like enough time.

We will be flying in (UA594) United from LASto IAH AT 4:35 p.m. then we flying out at 6:04 p.m.(CO1565 ) to SJO. Is this enough time to take the another plane ?

I'm a canadian perosn and I booked a flight from Montreal to Liberia in Costo Rica with United Airlines. I have two connections: one in Chicago and another in Houston where I have only 34 minutes for my connection for Liberia...I arrive in terminal C and I depart from terminal E. Have I enough time and what will I have to do? If the flight is in late, what will happen ? Thank you for your comments.

1. If you have baggage which needs to be checked in, make sure it's under 50 kg - bags are no longer free and overweight costs you extra. The bag you can take onboard the plane must fit either under your seat or into the overhead bin. Make sure you follow the 1, 2, 3 rules set by TSA regarding liquids and required 1-quart plastic containers. Make sure LFT tags your bags to IAH & MIA, so it will arrive at MIA. 2. At Lafayette Airport you check in at your Continental counter & move on to your gate. At IAH you could either arrive at domestic terminals A, B or C, as Continental uses all three. Therefore, you need to look at your ticket to see what gate you arrive at and depart from at IAH. The A gates of Terminal A gates are A1-30; B gates are B60-88; C gates are divided into C14-24 east & C29-45 west. If you arrive and depart from different terminals in IAH you need to take the TerminaLink train connecting these terminals near their gates (just follow signs, no need to go through security again). Contact your airline, or alert your flight attendant early on, that you will need a wheelchair to get you to the TerminaLink train which runs inside security between the terminals, and that you need assistance when arriving at Terminal C to get to your gate. Note that Terminal C gates are divided into east C14-24 and west C29-45.

Arriving passengers at Terminal E go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby; this area also has an escalator down to the inter-terminal train to Terminal C - you will have to go through security check there before proceeding up to your gate.

I will be arriving United Airways from Canada and going on to Florida. Will I have to pick up my luggage or does it get transferred to the other plane. I land in Terminial B and Have to go to terminal C. How do I do that?

1. Air Canada uses Terminal A which has gates A1-30. You did not mention which airline you use for your Mexico flight. If you continue with Air Canada, you just need to go to the departing gate of Terminal A. Gates at Terminals are recognized by their letter & number TB has gates 60-88; TC gates C14-45, TD D1-12, & TE E1-24. All terminals are connected by the above-ground TerminaLink train inside of security. Also, if arriving at gates C29-45 and transferring to Terminal E, walk towards gates C14-24 and proceed straight on to TE. Your time should be sufficient but you need to move fast.

You arrive / depart from either Terminal B or Terminal C - Terminal B is only for Continental and has gates B60-88, while Terminal C is for Continental & United and has gates C14-45. Look at your ticket & you will see which Terminal you arrive/depart from. If at different terminals, take the above-ground TerminaLink train to your connecting terminal, which runs inside security. You have plenty of time.

Gate areas of Terminal C, which is divided into east & west gates, connect to Terminal E by walkway: If arriving at gates C29-45 walk towards gates C14-24 & proceed straight on to TE. Alternatively, the TerminaLink runs inside security making a continuous loop between all terminals and the outside hotel. Either way you should have adequate time to get to your gate (E gates are E12-24 and E1-11 on opposite sides.

I will be arriving from EWR and have a short layover. I will be going to UIO, which terminal will I be leaving from in houston

are you checking bags? If so, and have to recheck to USAir, you are cutting it way too close. 10 min walk to baggage, 15 minute wait for bags, 10 minutes back to USAir to check bags and then security...I don't see it happening

1. Complete your formalities in Edmonton Airport, which has U.S. customs clearance, saving time. When checking in your bags there, make sure they are properly tagged for IAH & PHL, so they arrive automatically at PHL. 2. At IAH, your Continental flight may arrive either in Terminal A, B or C (check your ticket to see which gate: A gates A1-30; B gates B60-88; C gates C14-45. You will depart by US Airways from Terminal A (gates A1-30). 3. If you need to transfer to another terminal use the above-ground TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security, making its continuous loop and taking minutes. 40 mins. should give you enough time.

What if we don't have to get bags? Is that enough time. CO said US airways will have our boarding pass at the gate and they'll transfer our bags?

No problem - the above-ground TerminaLink train connects all trains inside security.

Upon arrival you will be processed in the International Arrivals building - part of Terminal E (TE). Make sure at Ixtapa your bags will be properly tagged to end destination and that your airline to IAH will transfer bags to your connecting flight (if by a different airline) - not all airlines do that. Allow for the inspection process 45-50 mins to be safe. After customs inspection you take the escalator down to baggage claim level 1; then go through exit control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area. Straight out you arrive at International Arrivals Lobby - there, take the escalator down to the below-ground inter-terminal Train, making its continuouss loop, to Terminal B, where go through security check and up to your gate. Your time is sufficient, even if you need to take your bag along and re-check it in in Terminal B.

I'll arrive IAH Terminal B at 8:10 AM and need to transfer to Terminal C to fly to Canada at 9:10AM. Both take the continental ailine. The layover is only 1h. Will the time enough for me?

Will I be clearing customs in TA or TE or another terminal? I will be able to catch the train from TA to TE and get there in a timely matter, correct?

You arrive at & depart from one of the domestic terminals TA, TB & TC, depending on which airline you take. Look at your ticket to see gate number (i.e., gate A15, B64, C12). TA has gates A1-30; TB has gateways at each corner of a square with gates B60-88; and TC is divided into east gates C14-24 & west gates C29-45. Use the above-ground TerminaLink train connecting all terminals inside security comes around every few minutes. You need to hurry.

Presuming you also arrive by Continental, which uses all three domestic terminals, you need to look at your ticket to establish your arrival & departure terminal & gate. Terminal A (TA) has A gates A1-30; TB gates B60-88; TC gates C14-45. The above-ground TerminaLink connects all terminals inside security. You have enough time for transfer.

In general Airports make allowance if a passengers needs to be accompanied to the boarding gate if the mental of physical condition of the passenger dictates such help. I suggest that you either e-mail the Airport at info@fly2houston.com or contact her Airline for such permission.

On arrival at Terminal B, take the above-ground TerminaLink train to Terminal D - which runs inside security. Therefore, 40 mins is enough time!
