It says that my flight into IAH tomorrow should arrive at 5:03pm at Gate B3... Then on the app it says that my departing flight is scheduled to leave at 6:10pm from Gate E16... What is the fastest way to get from one gate to the other ?? I will have 2 checked bags but I shouldn't have to worry about them, am I correct ?? They will just be transferred by the Airlines ??
I have to tickets, one SAP-IAH arrives at terminal E and another ticket IAH-DFW depart from terminal C, how do I check my bag and check in after customs and security?
We arrive at Houston airport Friday at 12:40 pm on Air NZ from Auckland then have a SW flight to Tampa at 3:15 pm. Are we good to go re customs etc to make tampa flight?
You need to change your reservation. Southwest flies to a different airport in Houston than Air New Zealand. There's no way you can make that connection.
Leaving Costa Rica with arrival Houston Intercontinental then switching to domestic flight Houston to San Antonio. If I purchase liquor bottle(s) at Costa Rica airport duty free and carry on, will I be able to clear customs and carry on liquor bottle(s) on my domestic flight or will I have to go through a Security Checkpoint between flights where bottles will be confiscated?
You have to go through security in Houston. So any liquor bottles will have to be put in checked baggage before the flight to San Antonio.
Hello I am looking at booking a flight from YYC to GDL on United, with a stop in Houston, they allot 55 mins in between connecting flights... will we have enough time? and do we have to go through security/customs?? Thanks!
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. All you have to do in Houston on the way to Guadalajara is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Hi, I'm traveling from Auckland New Zealand to Toronto do I need to collect my bags? Traveling with Air New Zealand then Air Canada.
Yes, I believe you will have to since neither flight is on United.
I will be returning home on a flight from London to SEA with a 1 hr 40 min layover in IAH (Houston). I will not have any checked baggage. I worry that this is not enough time and could take another return flight, but it has a 3hr 40 min IAH layover.
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly with no checked bags.
I am being offered an award flight as follows: Edmonton 8:15am - Houston 1:35pm - Houston 2:20pm - Cancun 5:36pm.

This itinerary results in a 45 minute connection. There is US pre-clearance in Edmonton so i would not be going through immigration at IAH. Can someone tell me if there is a typical arrival terminal for Edmonton/Canadian flights and a typical departure terminal for flights to Cancun? This itinerary is also offered on United.com so i would hope that this connection is possible. Any opinions?
You will arrive in Terminal B or C and depart from Terminal E. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security. It is enough time but doesn't leave much time to spare.
I have a flight on Friday from Mexico City to EWR with connection in IAH with 2 h 20 mins. I will arrive to IAH at 3:24 PM Terminal C(or can be E) and departure is at 5:10 PM from Terminal E.
I am not US citizen, so passing security will depend. Is it enough time to make a connection?
You arrive in Terminal E and depart from Terminal E or C. You will have to go through security, everyone does after they clear customs. You should have enough time.
We are traveling from St. Louis to Munich with a connection in Houston. Will we have to grab our checked luggage and recheck before departing to Munich. I have flown through Atlanta and have had to do this, just want to double check.

If both flights are on the same reservation you don't have to claim your bags in Houston on the way to Munich. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.
