Flight 4540 wil arrive at 8:19pm and my connecting flight 350 to SFO will leave 53 minutes later at 9:12 pm. Is 53 minutes enough time to transfer flights?

Yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. You will arrive in Terminal B and depart from terminal C or E. The TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security.

I will be coming from LAX arrival time 7:02 pm and have connecting flight to DTW departing at7:57pm will I have enough time, do I need to go through security again and do you know what gates I would be arriving and departing?

You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time. You will arrive in Terminal C and depart from B or C. The TerminaLink Train connects all terminals inside security in the event that you have to change terminals.

Flight UA5151 arriving IAH 12:15pm. My departing flight UA1401 from IAH leaves 41 minutes later at 12:56pm. Will I have enough time? I don't know which terminals?

UA 5151 will arrive in C. UA 1401 will depart from C if domestic and E if international. You should have enough time in either case as C and E are directly connected and all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

My flight is scheduled to arrive in Houston at 12:02 pm and my connecting flight to Port of Spain Trinidad departs at 12:53 pm. Is 51 minutes sufficient time to exit the plane, clear customs and re-check? I need to know if this is possible.

On your way to POS, you do not have to clear customs and re-check in IAH. You do not go through US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. You will go through Trinidad Immigration when you get to POS. All you will have to do in IAH is go from your arrival gate in Terminal C to Departure gate in Terminal E. You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

Hello, I will be arriving from New York to Houston (terminal C) and taking my next plane to McAllen (terminal B). The problem is I only have an hour. Will it be enough time?

Yes, if your first flight is on-time that should be enough time. C and B are connected inside security by the TerminaLink train.

  • GUA-IAH-YYZ 1H30M transfer time in IAH

Hi, I am flying GUA-IAH-YYZ-TLV with 1H30M tranfer time in IAH, will this be enough? Please note that I am not an american citizen and need go throw immigration. All the flights are with air Canada. Thanks

Please check your itinerary. Your GUA-IAH flight will be operated by United. Your IAH-YYZ flight could be operated by United Express OR Air Canada. Who operates it will really impact your connection as if it's operated by Air Canada you will have to take the TerminaLink Train all the way to Terminal A after clearing US Customs and re-checking your baggage, but if it's operated by United Express it will leave from B or C. Your connection time is possible but leaves very little spare time for any delays.

  • FRA-IAH-CUN, 1H50M transfer time on 23 Dec

Hi, will be flying FRA-IAH-CUN on 23/12 with 1H50M(110M) transfer time at IAH. Is that enough?

Yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. Both flights will be in Terminal E, but you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bag, go through US Customs, re-check your bag with United, then go through security and back to the departure gates.

  • 33 minute layover

Flying into IAH from PDX (Portland, OR) to MCO (Orlando) via United. Just realized we have only 33 minutes between the time we land and the time the next flight departs for MCO. Seated at the back of the plane on the first flight with 5 children and concerned we might not make the connection. Appreciate any advice!

If your first flight is on-time you should be OK. Both flight should be in Terminal C. However, if there are any delays it will be tough. If you miss your connection United has many flights from IAH to MCO, however, I don't know how late in the day your original itinerary is so there may not be later options and you may be stuck in Houston overnight.

  • What gate will I arrive at tomorrow from RDU at 12:53

I need to find out which terminal or gate I will be arriving at to make arrangements to get to my departure gate. I have bad vision.

There is no RDU-IAH flight scheduled for tomorrow that arrives at 12:53. Please double check your itinerary at United.com

Trying to get from Cancun to Narita with a 1H12M connection in IAH. Will I be able to go from plane to plane without needing to go through any additional screening?

    All on UAL that is.

United Airlines uses Terminal E for both international arrivals & departures. On arrival you need to go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance, re-check-in bag, proceed to level 2 and clear security, then turn left for E1-24. You have plenty of time for transfer.

Actually, 1 hr 12 minutes is less than the minimum connection time for such a transfer. You should contact your travel agent or United to reschedule. Hopefully there is an earlier flight from Cancun or they can route you through a different United hub.

I'm flying from Amsterdam through Houston to Austin. What's the least amount of time I need to get through customs to my connecting flight? Thanks!

90 minutes is the minimum intl -> domestic connection time at IAH.

Hi, I'm travelling from Puerta Vallarta to Minneapolis with United. I have an 1:35 minutes connection time in IAH to catch my flight to MSP. FLight s are all booked together. Do I have enough time to clear immigration and customs? And also what terminal will I be arriving abd departing from. Thank you

You will arrive in Terminal E where you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, and re-check your bags with United. Then you will go up to the departure level and through security. Your flight to MSP will depart from Terminal B or C, C is directly connected to E, while you can take the TerminaLink train inside security to B.

Thank you. So do I have enough time to still make my flight to MSP? I only have 1 hour and 35 minutes.

Yes, that should be enough time, but doesn't leave much time to spare in case of delays.

  • DFW to IAH to LGA - 57 min?
    Jul 8, 2014

Looking to book a ticket coming in from DFW on United Express, and connecting to a United flight (regular) 57 min later going to LaGuardia. Is that too quick of a turn around time? No bags, but worried the flights will come in/leave out of different terminals.

That should be enough time if the first flight is on-time. The TerminaLink train at IAH connects all terminals inside security.

Hi, We will be flying from MCO through IAH to YYC, with a 55 minute layover at IAH. do we need to go through security again at IAH and is 55 minutes enough time? Thanks.

No, you do not have to go through security again in IAH. The TerminaLink train connects all terminals at IAH inside security if you have to change terminals. You will clear Canadian immigration and customs when you get to Calgary.

    Thanks!
