Terminal B to CMar 29, 201340I will be flying landing at 8:26 on United Express (term B?) & depart at 9:09 United (term C?). Last time I travelled United our connection gate was closed 10 min to departure and we were bumped off the flight even though we were at the gate prior to 'departure time' (SanFran). On the express jet I believe they will put my rolling carryon below as they do not have the large overheads - so I will have to wait for it to be brought up. This combined with changing terminals in an unfamiliar airport in Houston has my worried. What are my odds at making the connection this time? :-) Thank you!tomcatposted on Fri, Mar 29[ Reply ][ Like ]I should have specified these are domestic morning flights through IAH.tomcatposted on Fri, Mar 29United uses Terminals A, B, C & E at IAH - your ticket /boarding pass should indicate your gate number (i.e., C14). The above-ground TerminaLink train connects the terminals inside security. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/iah, then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text. 30 mins transfer time should suffice.frmar13posted on Fri, Mar 29My e-ticket does not cite terminals/gates. I did look at the map...hence my apprehension as it requires a change of buildings.tomcatposted on Fri, Mar 29Expressjet flights usually arrive from A&B and United Mainline flights depart from C, since you're domestic it will probably depart from C. As you said regarding your concerns about gate checked bags, you will really have to hurry and hope your first flight is on-time. At least you will be traveling in the morning when there's a better chance things will be running on time and when there are likely better chances to be rebooked if you miss your connection.ZAPposted on Fri, Mar 29

32 mins terminal C or E to B?Mar 25, 201330I will be flying into IAH from SNA (Orange County) arriving at 7.32pm, and am wondering if I can connect to a flight to STL leaving at 8.04pm (both on United), I think leaving from Terminal B? Will I be able to make it between those terminals in 32 minutes??? Thankseldhposted on Mon, Mar 25It's not clear - are you connecting at IAH? Your message makes it look as if you are connecting at SNA. If so that's very tight but doable. You have to take the TerminaLink one stop to get from C to B. Unfortunately since it's so late in the day that would probably the last flight to STL from IAH, so if you miss your connection you'll be spending the night in Houston.ZAPposted on Mon, Mar 25Sorry - connecting at IAH. My route is SNA-IAH-STL. It is indeed the last flight of the day from IAH to STL.. I just wanted to know if it would be physically possible to get from C (or E, not sure where my flight from SNA is arriving at IAH), to B within the 32 mins.. Will I basically have to run? Are the trains frequent? Thanks againeldhposted on Mon, Mar 25

How do I get from Terminal A to EMar 23, 201310I'm flying into IAH from CVG then flying out to Lima. I arrive at A and leave from E. How do I get between terminals? How long does it take? I'm from Australia and don't know this airport at all. THank youozkate62posted on Sat, Mar 23At IAH, the above-ground TerminaLink train, starts its service at the Terminal A station and connects from there to Terminals B, C, D/E inside security - just follow signs to the train on arrival. On arrival at TD, look for the connector to TE where you arrive in the center of the gate area with gates E1-E11 and E12-24. Estimated time: 30-40 mins.samar13posted on Sat, Mar 23

36 minutes between flightsMar 21, 201331Hi! I'm flying from Laguardia into IAH, landing at 8:27, and then our next flight to Ontario (ONT) is at 9:03. We didn't realize it was that close when we booked the tickets because United put them in a cluster. Is this doable?caitlinshowposted on Thu, Mar 21Ontario being California, not Canada, by the way.caitlinshowposted on Thu, Mar 21Yes, it's doable. Both of your flights will probably be in Terminal C.Zapposted on Thu, Mar 211 person likes this post [ Like ]

45 minut layover with kidsMar 20, 201320I know this has been address but I just want extra assurance. :) Is a 45 minute layover doable? It'll be me, my husband, two kids, and a car seat. We're coming in from Pittsburgh (PIT) and going to Orange County (SNA). Also, how can I find out which terminal I will be flying into and out of? Thanks.swposted on Wed, Mar 20Forgot to add: we will be flying United for both flights.SWposted on Wed, Mar 20Yes, it's doable. If your PIT-IAH flight is on United it will arrive in terminal C or E. if it's on United Express it will arrive in B. Your SNA flight will probably depart from C. If you arrive into B you can take the TerminaLink train between terminals, otherwise you can walk between gates in C or between C and E.ZAPposted on Wed, Mar 20

long time between flightsMar 20, 201320I have a long time between flights at IAH. I get in at midnight and the next flight isn't until 7am. are ther sleeping booths available at this airport and where are they locatedlscposted on Tue, Mar 19You could opt for the massage chairs near gate C43 - if sitting on floor there you get WiFi connection from nearby VIP lounge. Alternatively, open http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1-i10702-k5639170-Long_layover_in_Houston_IAH_Hotel_or_sleep_in_airport-Air_Travel.html for hotel accommodation suggestions by Air Travel Forum.wemar13posted on Wed, Mar 20

United flight 43 minute connectionMar 18, 201320We have a flight that arrives at IAH at 9:33 am (United) and leaves at 10:16 am for Roatan, Honduras. Is that enough time?phoenicianonposted on Mon, Mar 18That's very tight, but doable. Your Roatan flight will likely depart from Terminal E. If you arrive into Terminal A or B, take the TerminaLink train between terminals.ZAPposted on Mon, Mar 18

go to vancouverMar 18, 201310I am flying from Indianapolis to Houston, TX then to Vancouver with United airline. I will leave Indy at 6:30am, arrive in Houston at 8:03am, I have one hour to connect to the flight to Vancouver. Will I have enough time? Do I need to go thru custom in IAH? What is the best way to do? I will be 33 weeks pregnant and taking my 6-year-old son.sdposted on Mon, Mar 18Yes, you have enough time. You do not go through customs at IAH, you will go through Canadian immigration in Vancouver. Your flight from IND will likely arrive in Terminal B (although it could arrive in A) and your YVR flight will likely depart from Terminal C. You just have to take the TerminaLink one station if you arrive in B and 2 stations if you arrive in A.ZAPposted on Mon, Mar 18

40 mins Connection Terminal A to CMar 17, 201320I have two small children and I'm connecting between Terminals A and C with a 40 min connection. Should I be concerned??kymobrophyposted on Sat, Mar 16I should mention...I'm coming in from Tulsa and ddeparting to Orlandokymobrophyposted on Sat, Mar 16On arrival at IAH, Terminal A, look for signs for the above-ground TerminaLink train which runs continuously between the terminals inside security. On arrival at TC, the TerminaLink train station and splits shortly thereafter into the gateway to gates C24 to C27, to the right, gateway to gates C14 to C23 in the center, and C2 to C14 to the left. You make it easily within 40 mins.sumar13posted on Sun, Mar 17

booking question - time btwn flightsMar 15, 201310I am connecting to an international flight out of IAH that departs at 7:50PM. I have a few choices to select from for the first flight into IAH, arrival times as follows 1:00PM, 2:00PM or 5:00PM. I would like to avoid a long layover, but want to have enough time, which arrival time would you suggest booking in order to allow enough time to claim luggage and go to customs to board my flight at 7:50PMvanposted on Fri, Mar 15
